Subterranean Kingdom, Vast Unknown & Buried in the Depths Post Hardcore Type Beat

I’ve spent most of my life fighting. Not for glory. Not for justice. Just fighting—fists clenched, jaw locked, heart burning. Angry at everything. Angry at nothing. And now, standing in the hollowed remains of what used to be the capital, I ask myself: For what?

The rage was a compass once. It pointed me toward enemies, toward purpose. But now it feels like a broken blade—useless, dull, and heavy in my hands. What if I’m not angry anymore? What if all that fury was just a mask, and now that it’s gone, I’m just waiting for someone to take me down for good?

The article was crumpled in my pocket, its ink smudged from sweat and blood. “They all disappeared without a trace.” Not just one village. Not just one battalion. Whole swaths of the kingdom—gone. No screams. No signs of struggle. Just silence. And the silence is louder than any war cry I’ve ever heard.

Whoever’s behind it could be watching us right now. I feel it in the air—thick and electric, like the moment before lightning strikes. We’ll never get back to our world. That much is clear. We’re buried here, deep as deep in the earth. Beneath the ruins. Beneath the lies. Beneath the weight of our own obedience.

But at least we’re following the King’s instructions again.

That’s what they keep telling us. “Follow the King’s instructions.” Like it’s a prayer. Like it’s salvation. But the King’s been dead for years. His voice echoes only through the scrolls we carry, the ones written in a language no one remembers how to read.

Still, we follow.

Because what else is there?

The others don’t talk much anymore. Their eyes are hollow, their movements mechanical. I wonder if they’re still alive inside. Or if they’ve already disappeared, like the rest. Maybe I’m the last one who remembers what it felt like to be angry. To fight. To burn.

And maybe that’s why I’m still here.

Maybe that’s why it hasn’t taken me yet.

But I feel it coming. In the shadows. In the whispers. In the way the earth trembles beneath our feet when we recite the King’s final command: Dig Deeper
