Sir David The Killer Bee Beats

--- ❄️ The Spirit Case of Snowpoint Lake ❄️ A detective born under an unusual star… There’s a legend in Snowpoint City. Locals whisper it over mugs of steaming tea and behind frostbitten doors: a creature that hovers over the lake when the moon is high and the wind is still. No one knows its name. Some say it’s a guardian. Others say it’s a warning. But tonight, the lake is silent. And the creature is gone. “Geez,” you mutter, breath fogging the air. “Now that I need to talk to them, I can’t seem to find them.” You’re not just anyone. You’re a cop—Detective Ryo Kisaragi, assigned to the Spirit Division. Most think it’s a joke. A department for chasing shadows and listening to ghosts. But you know better. You’ve seen the veil between worlds. You’ve walked its edge. And tonight, something’s off. A voice crackles through your comms, but it’s not HQ. > “You have all that’s required to be a detective of the spirit world.   > It appears you were born under an unusual star, you...

The moon hung low over the shattered spires of Veyruhn, casting silver light across the battlefield. Shards of crystal littered the ground like fallen stars, each one humming faintly with residual magic. At the center stood Kael, cloaked in obsidian armor, his blade pulsing with a violet glow. "This is not something I usually do," Kael muttered, eyes narrowing at the trembling figure before him. "Fight opponents who I know have no chance of beating me. But I’m making an exception for you." They appeared overnight—tall, rusted silos on the edge of the Hollow Vale. No one remembered building them. No one dared approach. Yet, one by one, people began to vanish. Drawn by whispers only they could hear, they walked into the mist and never returned. It was said the silos were haunted. Not by ghosts, but by Soul Thieves—phantasmal entities that fed on memory, emotion, and identity. Once inside, a person’s soul would be unraveled like thread, woven into the eternal tapestry of the dead. But there was one who could resist. The Spirit Detective.A lone figure cloaked in twilight, eyes glowing faintly with spectral fire. He had walked between worlds, spoken with the forgotten, and battled monsters born from sorrow. His power wasn’t brute strength—it was knowing. He could see the truth behind illusions, the pain behind rage, the soul behind the shadow. Hey there, Bloom! It's time to face the music - your efforts are futile. We need that dragon flame of yours, and we'll do whatever it takes to get it. As the princess and last heir to the throne, you hold the key to the ultimate power in the universe. I won't stand idly by while they try to take us down. It's time to accept defeat and make a quick exit. I may have one card left to play, but it could be too risky. I can't keep dwelling on what could have been. "A few years back, I accidentally stumbled upon a distress call inside a spaceship shaped like a toad. Being the responsible student that I am, I finished my homework first before answering it. I mean, priorities, right? Anyway, the message was from someone named Pegasus, creator of the god cards, who clearly needed my help. The track I was on hadn't been used in ages, but it seemed like someone had given it a fresh coat of paint and switched up the direction. My sneaky friend, it looks like the games are about to begin. Can someone please escort this joker out of here and find me a real duelist? Sora and I have been separated since the beginning of our adventure, all thanks to Xemnas and Ansem's grand plan. Oh, the drama !" "Hey Ash, can you explain this to me? Were we actually ever on the same page? It's high noon and the clouds are looking pretty ominous. We seem to be in a spooky land covered in darkness. I have a feeling someone is keeping an eye on us. Consider this a friendly heads-up: no matter what you try, I won't be deterred. And you're going to have to face the consequences for all the people you've hurt in your twisted little game." Is this my home planet Earth? Honestly, I'm not quite sure where I am right now. Let me rewind. It all started with a simple C-rank mission. Summer was coming to an end, the sun was shining, and everything seemed great...or so we thought. Suddenly, my world turned upside down when cards began falling from the sky. The message was clear: "Hide in the forest or become a living puppet. Yep, definitely not in Kansas anymore.  "It's the second sighting of him, yet he eludes my grasp, leading me to question if he's merely a figment of my imagination. A sense of anticipation lingers within me, but for what purpose? I must relinquish the potent force I've been suppressing, even if it alters my essence indefinitely. While my abilities wax and wane with the lunar cycles, my determination remains unwavering." "I have dedicated my life to battling against those who have wronged me, only to realize that their intentions were different from what I originally believed. What is the purpose of all these struggles? Am I simply seeking someone to finally defeat me? All we require is a better environment to construct our network of challenges." "There was definitely some funky energy in the air a minute ago, but now all I see is a mysterious figure in a black coat slipping a letter to a white coat and giving orders. What is this, a spy novel? Who knows what devious plans are unfolding here. Could I somehow get tangled up in this villainous scheme? Note to self: always let your heart be your guide. And that, my friends, is how the chaos began."
