Requiem in the Year of the Dragon: Flight of the Winged Goddess Album Intro
In the Year of the Dragon, in a world far beyond the known realms, all eyes turned toward the ancient nests, eagerly awaiting the hatching of the prophesied purple dragon. But the Dark Master had listened to the prophets, too.
"I should have hidden the eggs long before," a weary guardian whispered to the empty stone halls, watching shadows stretch across the cavern walls. "I thought we were ready. I thought they were safe. Oh, how I was wrong."
"We're sorry, Master. We weren't able to reach the Codex in time," the witch Narissa reported, kneeling before Lord Darkar as the dark energies within the kingdom of Domino pulsed with malignant life.
Farther across the mystical plains, the prophets delivered a final, chilling message to the kingdoms:
Give heed to this warning, humankind.
The creature of destruction will appear from the illuminating world.
Revealing his sacred wings, he will perceive that which is hidden and mirror himself among the citizenry.
When the three sacred planets align, their power shall fade away... now just fade away.
"Can it all be over?" a fearful voice murmured.
"Yes," Lord Darkar hissed, a twisted smile spreading across his face. "Let everything fade away. This whole world... let it all just fade away."
Yet, even as the darkness threatened to consume the horizons, a strange resonance vibrated through the fabric of dimensions.
Come, my kindred spirit, a voice echoed across the ether. I hear you from your world beyond. You are the chosen one. You are the winged Goddess. You shall travel to Gaea to fulfill the prophecy.
Lord Darkar continued his relentless plotting, flanked by Valtor and the three ancient witches. But the tides of fate had already shifted beyond their control.
Alongside Bloom, leader of the Winx Club—who wondered if waking life had suddenly dissolved into a dream or a waking vision—stood an extraordinary fellowship: Spyro the purple dragon, Van Fanel from Escaflowne, and Eragon, sword in hand.
At that exact moment, a sharp crack echoed through the chamber. The shell splintered. The egg had hatched.
"The people must not learn the legends are true," Lord Darkar snarled, his eyes locking onto the newborn light.
