Kandrakar’s Fate: Ansem and the Isle of Teranog

The ambient glow of Kandrakar pulsed with an anxious, arcing tremor. High above the veil, where the cosmic streams usually flowed with vibrant cerulean light, the magical ley lines bled thin.
The Soma levels were falling—relentlessly, steadily, with no end in sight.
Within the grand libraries of Kandrakar, Will Vandom stood beside Bloom, staring at the fading orb that measured the plane's lifeblood. "All of Kandrakar first sprang from the magic of Soma," Will murmured, her voice tight as she tightened her grip on the Heart of Kandrakar. "If the Soma vanishes completely, everything collapses. Could this be someone's deliberate doing? Or is it perhaps a test from God above to test the faith of mankind?"
"Magic is all about balance," Bloom said, reaching out to trace the air, where the faint embers of the Dragon Flame flickered nervously. "Objects and places have memories. If something is draining the Soma, it's leaving a scar somewhere."
Bloom pulled a heavy, leather-bound tome from the shelf and flipped through the yellowed pages. She stopped at a faded illustration of an ancient battlefield. "Look here. The books say Nebula was a great warrior in the war against the fairy hunters. And here..." Bloom pointed to a drawn diagram of shimmering geometric rings. "Here it is: the last White Circle. This is the last way for the fairies to escape the Wizards of the Black Circle and go back to the Isle of Teranog."
Roxy stepped forward from the shadows, her eyes brimming with solemn resolve. "My mother told me about it," she whispered, sharing the words passed down to her. "She said a Black Circle always appears to combat the White Circle. It’s an endless cycle of dark and light."
A chill swept through the hall. The air grew dense, and a silhouette manifested near the central gateway. King Mickey stepped into the light, his keyblade drawn and resting loosely at his side, his expression unusually grave.
Will frowned, piecing together the chaotic news they had gathered across dimensions. "Wait... Mickey, you mean we did all that to defeat an imposter? So what happened to the real Ansem? He should know about what's happening to the worlds!"
"Well," King Mickey replied, looking up at the group of heroes. "Some fella named Ansem—who wasn't really Ansem—surrendered his heart and became a Heartless."
Bloom gasped softly. "Does that mean a Nobody got created, too?"
"Yes," King Mickey confirmed, his eyes darkening as the fading Soma cast long shadows across the floor. "And that Nobody is our new enemy."
