ANIMORPHIC: VISIONS OF THE FALLENFeature Film: The Black Wing of Diaz Ragu & The Resurrection of King Phobos

The cold wind howled across the standardly desolate, jagged rocks of the Realm of Ashes.
"We're very sorry, Master, we weren't able to reach the Codex in time," Icy hissed, bowing her head slightly alongside Darcy and Stormy. The Trix, usually insufferably arrogant, kept their voices remarkably low as they addressed the towering, mysterious bird-man creature standing before them.
The creature’s golden plumage glinted under the bruised sky, his sharp gaze fixed on the distant horizon. He didn't turn to face them.
"We'll let them think they've won," he rasped, his voice sounding like dry leaves scraped against stone. "And when they least expect it... give heed to this warning, humankind. The creature of destruction will appear from the illuminating world. Revealing his great wings, he will perceive that which is missing and reveal himself among the citizenry. When the three sacred planets align, their power will usher in doom and destruction."
A few yards away, hidden behind an outcrop of obsidian rock, an unlikely alliance huddled together.
"Look at this," whispered Bloom, Fairy of the Dragon Flame, thumbing through an ancient, leather-bound tome they had retrieved from the archives. "Here's our book: Animorphic Winged Monsters, Angels, Fairies, and Demons. Do you think Avalon is one of these monsters?"
Diaz, his jaw set, shook his head as he stared at the looming feathered terror. "If he isn't, he's certainly giving them a run for their money."
Beside him, Prince Phobos sneered, adjusting the rich velvet of his robes, while Will Vandom tightened her grip on the Heart of Kandrakar pulsing at her chest.
"Bloom... Will..." Diaz stepped forward, drawing his blade as the shadow of dark magic began to pool at their feet. "You don't intend to fight me, do you?"
From the swirling gloom, a towering, abyssal silhouette materialized—Darkness incarnate, rising behind the Trix.
"Whosoever interferes with me will return to nothingness," the voice rumbled from the dark void, shaking the very ground beneath their boots.
Diaz didn't even flinch. He smirked, lifting his sword until the light bounced off its edge. "To frighten me, you'll have to use a different threat."
The creature of darkness paused, its glowing red eyes narrowing at the young warrior. "Though I have assumed this form, I am not human. I am different from you mortal creatures..."
"Knowing that, you'd still fight me?" Diaz interrupted softly, a dark aura of his own beginning to crackle around his frame. "It seems we're not so different. In battle... I turn into a beast as well."
Will stepped up next to Bloom, her eyes darting toward the distant fortress where Narissa held the powerful Seal. "Forget Darkness for a second—we have a bigger problem. We can't take the Seal from Narissa because of the Heart of Meridian protecting her."
Phobos stepped past them all, a wicked, calculated smile touching his lips. "Then it's fortunate I am here."
Will looked at the Prince of Meridian, realization dawning on her. "There is only one person who can bypass that power and take the Seal from Narissa..."
"Prince Phobos," Bloom finished, looking at him warily.
Phobos flexed his slender, magical hands, his eyes flashing with raw ambition. "Shall we begin?"
