Title: The Spirit Bond I’ve waited so long. Kept my silence so no one would know what I had planned. I watched the world chase glory, watched heroes rise and fall, and I stayed in the shadows. Not because I was afraid—but because I knew the truth. I couldn’t obtain the power. I couldn’t become the hero myself. So I found someone else. Not a warrior. Not a prodigy. Just a warped bottle of a soul who knew nothing but Pokémon—obsessed, naïve, and pure in a way I never was. I called him Kai. He thought he was just training creatures. He didn’t know he was training for something far older, far deeper. The connection between you and your spirit beast is a full package deal. When you're sad, it will feel it. When you're in pain, so is it. That’s the bond. That’s the curse. Kai didn’t know that when he bonded with Umbra, the shadow fox spirit. He thought it was just another evolution. But Umbra wasn’t a Pokémon. He was a fragment of the ancient beast that once guarded the veil between ...

the concept of true darkness is probably something most 90s kids/millennials are famailar with, but to actually define it so other readers can understand maybe a ,difficult task ,The most obvious example is Kouchi from Digimon Fronteir, but, you could argue That Vegeta(DBZ),Itachi Uchiha(Naruto),Robin Hood And Edmund Pevensie are also examples of this, yes Edmund, first wer must define true darkness easier said than done but ultimately is nesscecay for this to make sense to those who are not of the aforementioned age group. the plots of most cartoons today are no where near as in depth and powerful as they used to be,with the exceptions of Boruto and Pokemon Sun & Moon.but even those show are not as prominent as they were/should be ,or as old Pokemon generations were , digimon is also a great example of this the frontier story lines were amazing. most shows now do not have enough character development and/or they do not give the main plot time to get deeper if there is a main plot at all.also the scenes that used to be so inspiring seem to be less and less, whether were talking about Kouchi on darkness and light("darkness and light are brothers on can't exist without the other darkness is only a bad thing if you choose tomake it so" Digimon frontier) or the lyrics to the master quest theme song("no time to question my moves stick to the path that i choose"),the frontier theme was also inspiring. i am sure i am not the only one who wanted to go on adventures of my own and would...
