The Black Willow: Dark Oak and the Blood Seal of Phobos
The wind howled across the shattered, barren landscape—a desolate wasteland that had once been Kandrakar, a lush and prosperous land. Eons ago, two ancient willow trees had stood here as the ultimate source of life, but now, only withered gray soil and swirling ash remained.
Deep in the shadows of the twisted terrain, Dark Oak’s menacing voice echoed like thunder across the abyss. "Dark Oak will be victorious! He will have revenge! Zelkova has been destroyed..." He paused, his cold eyes gleaming over a glowing green gemstone resting mockingly in the dust. "What's a fake Chaos Emerald doing here in the middle of nowhere? How weird..."
Footsteps crunched against the dry earth. Leon from the Resistance rushed toward the dark silhouette standing near the cliff's edge. "Shadow! Tell us what happened! The Meterex... they fooled us all!"
Will Vandom, her Heart of Kandrakar pulsing with a faint, flickering light, stood alongside Shadow the Hedgehog and Bloom from the Winx Club. Her face was grim as she turned to them. "That's it. We can't take the Seal from Nerissa because of the Heart of Meridian. Nerissa tricked Elyon into giving it to her, so only an heir to the Meridian throne can take the Seal from Nerissa."
Before anyone could process the depth of Nerissa's betrayal, a warm, reassuring glow pierced through the darkness. Headmistress Faragonda materialised beside Bloom, her voice urgent yet calm.
"You have come to help," Faragonda said, gesturing for them to draw near. "Step closer. Valtor's magic is very powerful and cannot be undone through normal means."
"How can we help?" Bloom asked, her Dragon Flame flaring around her hands in defiance.
"The only way to undo Valtor's magic is to reverse the flow of time," Faragonda answered solemnly.
Standing in the shadows of the desolate land, the Great Dragon Terador watched the gathering of realms. Beside him, Ignitus bowed his head in bitter sorrow. "It's my fault," Ignitus whispered, staring at the scarred earth. "I failed when I was needed most..."
Terador rested a heavy, scaled claw on the guardian dragon's shoulder. "All warriors feel fear at one time or another. There's no shame in that, but only the most valiant among us can face that fear and master it." Terador turned his piercing gaze toward a young dragon standing nearby alongside the Svalls Darkness and Scarface. "Young dragon, now is the time to face your fear."
Shadow stepped forward, his chaos energy crackling violently around him as he glared past the ruined willow trees toward the horizon, where the forces of the Meterex and Valtor merged into a nightmare of shadow and flame.
"No doubt that the strongest warrior alive shall rise against me," Shadow gritted out, his eyes locked on the oncoming storm. "I can't let anything end my battles here on this Earth!"
