THE SCREWTAPE EDICT: WRATH OF THE WINGED BEASTS

The heavy thud of the ancient leather-bound book hitting the table echoed through the dimly lit chamber. Pages turned with a crisp, ominous whisper, revealing detailed, grotesque illustrations of animorphic monsters—beasts with deadly, retractable wings capable of slipping seamlessly beneath skin and cloth, leaving them indistinguishable from everyday people.
"We're sorry, Master... we weren't able to reach the Codex in time," a trembling voice echoed from the shadows. "Give heed to this warning, humankind: the creature of destruction will appear from the illuminating world, revealing his sacred wings. He will perceive that which is missing and hide himself among the citizenry when the three sacred planets align their power."
Diaz Ragu stepped closer to the tome, his eyes narrowing as he studied the intricate sketches of the beasts. "Here's the book... You think Avalon is one of the monsters, don't you?"
A figure draped in shadowy aura shifted in the corner. Darkness, an entity whose very presence seemed to devour the surrounding light, stepped forward. "You don't intend to fight me, do you, Diaz Ragu?" Darkness sneered, his voice vibrating with ancient malice. "Whosoever interferes with me will return to nothingness."
Diaz didn't flinch. He merely adjusted his posture, a cold, unyielding smirk touching his lips. "'Darkness, the Svall said...' To frighten me, you'll have to use a different threat. I've been close to returning to nothingness for a long time. Though I have assumed this form, I am not human."
"It seems we're not so different," Darkness replied, his obsidian wings flaring slightly behind his back, hidden just beneath the surface of his phantom silhouette. "In battle, I cease to be human as well."
"You may be the darkness," Diaz declared, his power surging to match the monster's aura, "but I am the unbridled spirit of war!"
Meanwhile, on the outer ridges of the battlefield, Yusuke Urameshi wiped a smear of blood from his cheek, looking over at the chaotic clash of power tearing through the landscape. Scarface stood across from him, weapons drawn, already locked in an brutal, unforgiving standoff.
"Who's the bad guy here?" Yusuke muttered, cracking his knuckles as energy crackled at the tips of his fingers. "You're up against each other, but it feels like the whole world's caught in the crossfire."
Yusuke and Scarface were already on opposing sides, bound by their own rivalries, but this conflict ran far deeper than a simple duel. Kurama stepped up beside Yusuke, his sharp eyes taking in the terrifying convergence of forces: the shadowy aura of Darkness, the elemental magic of Bloom, leader of the Winx, and the looming threat of the wing-hiding monsters waiting for the planetary alignment.
"This is a demon war where humans should not tread," Kurama said softly, his voice carrying the weight of a spirit who had seen centuries of conflict.
Yusuke stared out at the battlefield, watching Diaz Ragu prepare to clash with Darkness while Bloom channeled the Great Dragon Flame above. The line between hero, monster, and destroyer was blurring into absolute chaos.
"A fact," Yusuke whispered, feeling the raw, terrifying power vibrating through the earth beneath his boots, "that leads me down a spiral of troubling thoughts."
