Chronicles of the Fallen Realm: Return of Darkness – The Curse of the Black Willow and the Infected Digital Abominations

The heavy crystal doors of the Realm Court groaned as they swung shut behind us.
I stood side by side with my sister, Daphne. Her glowing ethereal robes fluttered slightly, catching the light of the colossal Crystal of Justice floating before us. But we were not here as honored monarchs. I, Bloom, Queen of Arachleon, and Daphne, Queen of Domino, were bound in ethereal chains.
"Bloom, Queen of Arachleon, and Daphne, Queen of Domino," the grand judge’s voice echoed like thunder across the marble hall. "You stand before the Crystal of Justice charged with treason—for attempting to destroy the mortal world!"
"You have the wrong fairies!" I shouted, stepping forward as far as the magical bindings would allow, my fiery aura flaring in protest. "We came to help! Headmistress Faragonda, step closer—tell them!"
Faragonda took a hesitant step toward the dais, her expression fraught with worry. "Your Honors, listen to her! Valtor’s magic is very powerful and cannot be undone through normal means. The dark spell consuming the realm is his doing, not theirs."
"Then how do we save the mortal world, Headmistress?" the judge demanded, eyes narrowing.
"The only way is to reverse the flow of time," Faragonda explained urgently, gesturing to the ancient map floating between us. "Eons ago, these two willow trees were the source of life for Kuruda, a wasteland some distance north of Domino. It was long before the Great Realm Fire, back when the ancient life-force still flowed freely."
Before the council could process her words, a low, rasping chuckle echoed from the shadows behind the judges' seats. A hooded figure emerged, holding a dark, swirling orb that hummed with forbidden magic.
"So... you’d like to sell your soul?" the figure hissed, looking directly at me. "Are you sure about that, my friend? You’d be throwing away your life—not to mention your title of Svall."
"I know what I'm risking," I snapped back, my heart pounding against my ribs. "I have set out to prove that I am the strongest warrior alive! Even if someone should rise against me, I can't let anything end my battles here on this earth!"
Daphne reached out, her cool hand gripping my arm. "Bloom, no! Look—something else is happening!"
The Crystal of Justice suddenly turned from pristine blue to a violent, flickering purple. Cracks began to form along its surface, but not from Valtor's magic or the tribunal's judgment. A tear in space itself ripped open right above the court's altar—a tear filled with raw, pixelated static.
A young man in goggles and a blue shirt burst through the tear, landing in a roll before skittering to his feet. Beside him stood a small, orange, bipedal dinosaur with large claws.
"Lately a distortion has opened up, and rogue digital monsters are using it instead of the Gate to come through!" Tai, leader of the DigiDestined, panted, adjusting his goggles as Agumon stepped up into a battle stance beside him. "We've been able to handle them so far, but now..."
Tai looked up at the tearing sky, where towering, corrupted shadows began pouring out from the tear, blending Valtor's dark magic with unstable digital code. "...now they've merged with your world's dark magic, and we're going to need all the help we can get!"
