The Secret of Aredia: Winter Solstice Battle of the Dark Dragon in Camelot

The heavy iron gates of Camelot groaned against the chill night air, swinging wide to reveal a hollow, silent expanse.
"There were no signs of life in the castle's inner courtyard. Where is everyone?" Bloom, leader of the Winx Club, whispered, her fiery wings twitching with unease as she glanced between Eustace Scrubb and Will Vandom, the leader of W.I.T.C.H.
Will adjusted her jacket, her eyes scanning the shadows where knights should have been standing guard. "This doesn't feel like a simple spell. It's too quiet."
Behind them, Headmistress Faragonda stepped forward, her expression graver than either of the young leaders had ever seen. "I am afraid no book would help us tonight," Faragonda said quietly. "The story of Camelot is a legend—only the power of the Legendarium can help you tonight. The Tree of Life is sick. If the tree should fade and die, the Pixies from this world will fly."
A few paces away, Professor Avalon stood near the boundary of the courtyard, his hands concealed within his long sleeves. His mind raced far beyond the quiet ruins of King Arthur’s stronghold. My magic is contained within the mask, but perhaps I can use it on myself, Avalon thought, his pulse quickening. It's quite dangerous in my condition, but it's worth the risk. Now that I have all four parts of the Codex, I must have the power of the Dark Dragon to unlock the Relix.
Far beneath their feet, in a world entirely isolated from the magical realm of Magix, damp earth pressed in from all sides.
"We'll never get back to our own world! We're buried here as deep as deep in the earth!" Jill Pole cried out, her voice echoing faintly in the claustrophobic darkness of the Underland.
"But we're doing well," Puddleglum added, his calm, Marsh-wiggle pessimism settling over the group like a heavy blanket. "We were to go under the ruined city, and we are—we most certainly are under it."
While worlds collided in the shadows of myth and deep earth, a far darker presence looked down upon an unsuspecting realm from the vacuum of space. Her dark wings unfolded against the starlight as she gazed at the glowing blue sphere below.
"Ah, Aredia... the perfect planet to add a third Heart to my collection," Narissa cackled, her voice sharp enough to slice through the silence of the cosmos. "Every world has a mystic heart, but this one comes without guardians."
Bloom stepped closer to Will, pooling the Dragon Flame into the palm of her hand to illuminate the darkened courtyard. "If the Tree of Life is dying, it means the boundary between stories and reality is completely gone. That's how Camelot ended up linked to the Magic Dimension."
"And W.I.T.C.H. energy is fluctuating," Will said, holding up the Heart of Kandrakar. The crystal glowed, but its light pulsed unevenly. "Whatever is draining the Tree of Life is pulling power from networks far beyond Magix."
Avalon turned toward them, his tone smooth, masking the dark calculations running through his mind. "Then we must act quickly. Headmistress, if the Legendarium is active, its dark magic will seek out the anchor of this realm. If I venture ahead to locate the source, I can secure the perimeter."
"Be cautious, Professor," Faragonda warned. "The dark magic weaving through these legends is unpredictable."
As Avalon slipped into the shadows toward the inner sanctum, Jill, Eustace, and Puddleglum finally broke through a crumbling stone archway deep beneath the courtyard, emerging into a forgotten cellar beneath Camelot's foundations. Dust poured from the ceiling as Eustace hauled himself up.
"See?" Eustace said, wiping dirt from his face. "Puddleglum was right. We made it under the city. Now we just have to find out where the ambient light is coming from."
They stepped out into the courtyard just as Narissa descended from the sky in a flash of purple lightning, her eyes locked on the Heart of Kandrakar in Will's hand and the Dragon Flame in Bloom's.
"How convenient," Narissa sneered, landing on the cobblestones. "The guardians of multiple realms gathered in one decaying castle. You're too late to save the Tree of Life, and once Aredia's heart is mine, no realm will stand against me."
Bloom raised her hands, flame spilling over her shoulders. "Not while the Winx and W.I.T.C.H. are standing!"
"Don't forget the Marsh-wiggles," Puddleglum muttered, stepping forward beside Eustace and Jill, raising his spear. "Though I expect we'll all be thoroughly blasted to cinders before tea time."
With a roar of dark magic and blazing dragon fire, the battle for the interconnected worlds began in the silent courtyard of Camelot.
