The Red Moon’s Messenger

The desert burned beneath the weight of the sun, each grain of sand shimmering like molten glass. A lone figure walked across that endless wasteland — his crimson coat snapping in the wind like a banner of war. He was no ordinary wanderer. He was the Spirit World’s messenger, the outlaw whispered in every tavern and cursed in every prayer: Vash the Stampede, the man with a bounty of a million double dollars, the man who could reduce the greatest cities to ash with a single breath.

The air itself seemed to recoil from him, as though it remembered the ruins he had left behind.

🔮 The Fortune Teller’s Warning

Long ago, before the desert swallowed the kingdoms whole, a fortune teller spoke of a night when the red moon would rise.

> “On that night,” she said, “the snake will slither and strike. Its venom will not kill swiftly, but slowly, like a curse that coils around the soul.”

Her words became legend, a prophecy carved into the bones of the land. And now, as the horizon bled crimson, the prophecy stirred awake.

🦂 Venom and Ash

The snake came not as a beast, but as a shadow — a whispering presence that slid through the dunes, unseen yet felt. Its strike was not of fang but of fate. Those who drank its venom potions found themselves unraveling, their strength dissolving into dust.

Vash, messenger of the spirit world, carried the antidote not in vials but in his blood. For his lineage was no ordinary one.

👑 The Underworld’s Legacy

It was revealed that one of his ancestors was the original King of the Underworld, a sovereign who ruled not with armies but with dominion over death itself. That power, buried deep in the marrow of his descendants, had awakened in Vash.

When the snake struck, when the venom began its slow, inevitable work, Vash did not fall. Instead, he crossed the threshold between worlds, stepping into the underworld and returning — reborn, reforged, carrying the fire of his ancestor’s throne.

🌌 The Return

On the night of the red moon, the desert itself trembled. The outlaw in the red coat stood at the edge of two worlds, messenger of spirits and heir to the underworld’s crown. His eyes glowed with the light of prophecy, and his voice carried across the burning sands:

> “I am both ash and rebirth. I am the strike and the antidote. I am the messenger who walks between worlds.”

And as the snake’s shadow dissolved into the horizon, the cities of men whispered his name in fear and awe.

Vash the Stampede.

The outlaw. The king’s heir. The one who came back.
