> “You are a nuisance, as usual,” Kodai replied, his tone sharp as broken crystal. “The manipulation of time is not to be taken lightly. So you know my name… I bet you know that I am a cop too. So what do you want?”  

The fire-burner’s laugh was jagged, cruel. “You’re not with the monsters. They’d make burgers out of you greens. But you—Kodai—you’ve already sold your soul. You stole Celebi’s power, and now you think you can rewrite destiny.”  

Kodai’s eyes narrowed. He had seen this moment before, countless times, in countless futures. Each one ended in fire. Each one ended in ash. Yet here he stood, defiant, clutching the fragile threads of time like a gambler holding his last card.  

> “I don’t need destiny,” Kodai whispered. “I am destiny.”  

The flames roared higher, devouring the skyline. Time itself shivered, collapsing into fragments. The clash was inevitable: fire against future, destruction against manipulation, cop against seer.  

And somewhere, hidden in the folds of time, Celebi wept—its stolen power twisting the world into a battlefield where prophecy and flame would decide the fate of all.
