🌍 Dreamwater: The Kingdom of Vanishing Light

The world was supposed to be home—planet Earth, familiar and fragile. But something was wrong. I wasn’t sure if I was still there. The skies had shifted, the oceans whispered in languages no one remembered, and the climate itself had rebelled. Places that once burned in summer now froze solid, their rivers locked in ice. The balance of the seasons had shattered, and with it, the veil between dreams and waking.

That was when it happened.

Me, and five other kids—chosen not by destiny, but by the chaos itself—were pulled into something greater. The sigil stitched into my jacket, a symbol I thought was just decoration, revealed its truth: Dreamwater. A guardian born to protect my friends from nightmares that had begun to seep into reality.

But power is never simple. To wield Dreamwater meant to drown in it. So I locked it away, sealed deep within myself, believing that silence was safer than strength. Yet the darkness never truly left. It haunted me, whispering from the edges of sleep, reminding me that nightmares grow stronger when ignored.

Now the kingdom trembles. Shadows coil through its streets, and the people whisper of a prophecy: the sun itself will vanish. If the light disappears, the world will collapse into eternal night, and even Dreamwater may not be enough to hold back the tide of fear.

I stand at the edge of choice. To release my power means risking everything—chaos within the kingdom, mistrust among my friends, and the possibility that Dreamwater itself could consume me. But to keep it locked away would mean surrendering to the darkness, watching as the last light fades from the sky.

The others—five kids bound to me by fate—look to me with hope and fear. They don’t know if I can control it. I don’t know if I can control it. But I do know this: nightmares thrive in silence, and if the sun disappears, the world will need Dreamwater more than ever.

So I breathe deep, feeling the sigil burn against my chest.

The lock begins to crack.

And the kingdom waits to see if I will save it—or drown it.
