Story: The Rose Morning Star

I had spent my whole life fighting.  

Every scar on my body was a tally of rage, every battle a reminder of how much I had given. Against Lucemon, the fallen angel of light, and the White Witch whose whispers poisoned kingdoms, I poured everything I had. Yet in the end, I realized—they never wanted me to win. They wanted someone else to take them down. I was a pawn in their theater of ruin.

Still, I pressed forward.

Through the Dark Gate, I entered the Dark Kingdom, where shadows breathed and walls bled memories. Each step toward the Rose Morning Star was a trial. I fought beasts born of despair, soldiers forged from forgotten regrets, and illusions that wore the faces of those I loved. My memories became weapons against me—bittersweet echoes, painful shards. Some battles I won, others I barely survived. But the question haunted me: What was my reason?

The answer came not in silence, but in the voice of my own conviction:

> "Evil can confuse you when you're staring it straight in the face. You can hope the face of evil will change itself—but it won’t, unless you force it to change. We could have gone back to our easy, normal lives. But we chose to press on, because evil in all its forks must be stopped."

I carried those words like a blade.  

Lucemon’s radiance tried to blind me, the White Witch’s illusions tried to break me, but I remembered: evil does not fade on its own. It must be confronted, reshaped, and shattered. My anger was no longer aimless—it was a fire to forge change.

At the gates of the Rose Morning Star, I stood alone. The battles behind me were carved into my soul, but I was no longer fighting for their reasons. I was fighting for mine. Not for glory, not for vengeance, but for the fragile hope that the world could be free of the masks evil wears.

And so, I pressed on.
