“Welcome to the Dark Gate,” I murmured, my voice trembling as the air itself seemed to shiver. Beyond it stretched the Continent of Darkness, a land whose dangers were as legendary as its mysteries. No map dared chart its shifting terrain, and no hero had ever returned unchanged.

✧ The Magic Mirror Gate

Next stood the Magic Mirror Gate, a silver arch shimmering like liquid moonlight. Here, Takuya would face his true self.  

Most believed monsters were the hardest foes to conquer, but the mirror revealed something far more terrifying: the reflection of one’s own soul. Many who gazed into it fled screaming, unable to bear the weight of their hidden truths. Takuya’s steps faltered, yet he pressed forward, knowing that denial would only chain him to despair.

🌌 The Nightmare

I have the same nightmare every single night.  

Mr. Genjai is gone.  

Koji and Ash have left the Limitless Fortress, its infinite halls echoing with silence. And I—left all alone—wander its corridors, haunted by shadows that whisper my failures back to me.  

But tonight, the dream twisted into something new. Dawn’s penguin, her loyal companion, had been kidnapped. Its cries echoed faintly, swallowed by a strange hole of light. The portal shimmered unnaturally, bending reality like glass under pressure. Some whispered it was an Ultra Wormhole, a passageway to realms beyond comprehension.

⚔ The Choice

Do I follow them into the light, risking dissolution in a world where time and space unravel? Or do I remain, guarding the fortress, waiting for allies who may never return?  

The Dark Gate hums behind me, the Mirror Gate glows ahead, and the Wormhole pulses like a heartbeat in the void.  

I realize now: every gate is not just a passage—it is a question.  

- The Dark Gate asks: Will you face the unknown?  

- The Mirror Gate asks: Will you face yourself?  

- The Wormhole asks: Will you face eternity?  

And somewhere, in the silence between these questions, lies the answer to why I dream this nightmare every night.
