Friar Tuck, The Stellar Citizens & The Enigmatic Mad Hatter Dream Pop Type Beat

The Crimson Summoning

Long ago, before the stars were silent and the skies forgot their songs, the People of the Stars roamed the world beneath the constellations. They were a tribe of warriors, fierce and noble, bound by ancient oaths and celestial magic. Their leader was not a man, nor a woman, but a beast of legend—a crimson dragon whose wings could blot out the sun and whose roar could bend rivers. Only the most valiant among them could summon this guardian, and when they did, the heavens trembled.

But time, as it always does, wore away the truth. The tales became myths. The myths became bedtime stories. And the bedtime stories were forgotten.

Until now.

---

Yuske stood atop the moss-covered ruins of the old temple, his cloak billowing in the wind like a banner of rebellion. His eyes burned with fury.

“We’re going to hang Friar Tuck!” he shouted, voice echoing through the valley.

“Hang Friar Tuck!” the crowd roared back, though half of them weren’t entirely sure who Friar Tuck was or what he’d done. But Yuske had that kind of charisma—fiery, irrational, magnetic.

Beside him, a girl with silver hair and a mechanical arm rolled her eyes. “You do realize Friar Tuck is a myth, right?”

Yuske grinned. “So was the crimson dragon.”

---

The group trudged through the forest, unsure of their destination. Branches clawed at their cloaks, and the moon watched silently overhead.

“Which way should we go?” asked the boy with the broken compass.

“Well,” said the girl, “that all depends on where you want to get to.”

“If I were you,” croaked a voice from the shadows, “I’d ask the Mad Hatter.”

They turned to see a man in a top hat balancing on a tree branch, sipping tea from a cup that never seemed to empty. His eyes gleamed with madness and wisdom.

“The Hatter knows the way,” whispered the wind.

---

They found the Hatter’s domain beneath a shattered clocktower, where time ran sideways and logic took naps. He spoke in riddles, danced in circles, and finally pointed them toward the Valley of Echoes.

It was there, in the valley, that they found the ancient altar. And it was there that Yuske, against all odds, summoned the crimson dragon.

It rose from the earth like a memory reborn—scales shimmering, eyes glowing with starlight. The crowd fell silent. Even the Mad Hatter stopped laughing.

But the dragon did not bow to Yuske.

It turned to the girl with the mechanical arm.

“Since when,” it rumbled, “does a guardian beast leave someone like you in charge?”

She stepped forward, unafraid. “Since the stars remembered who we are.”

And with that, the People of the Stars returned—not as myths, but as warriors reborn.
