“The Devil’s Messenger”

The burning sands of the Nether Wastes howled like a chorus of damned souls. Amid the storm, a silhouette emerged—his long red coat flaring like a banner of war, boots crunching against scorched earth. They called him Vash the Stampede, the Humanoid Typhoon, the Devil’s Messenger. But he was no demon. Not anymore.

The Nether World was a place whispered of in forbidden texts—neither spirit, nor demon, nor human. A realm born from the collapse of Horai Island, where the four War Gods once ruled. It was said that when the veil between worlds thinned, the Nether would rise—a place of exile, of forgotten oaths and broken time.

Vash stood at its edge, eyes scanning the horizon. He had returned.

A figure stepped from the shadows of a ruined shrine, armor dulled by age, bearing the crest of the fallen Kingdom of Solaria. “It’s been far too long,” the knight said, voice trembling with reverence. “I knew you would return sooner or later.”

Vash didn’t speak. He didn’t need to.

“We had the honor of serving your father,” the knight continued. “His dying wish was to slay the Four War Gods of Horai Island. He believed their defeat would seal the breach between worlds.”

Vash’s coat fluttered violently as the wind picked up, sand spiraling around him like a cyclone. “And did he succeed?” he asked, voice low, almost human.

The knight bowed. “He slew three. The fourth—Kurojin, the God of Silence—escaped into the Nether. That’s why you’re here, isn’t it?”

Vash turned, revealing the ancient revolver at his side—etched with runes from all three worlds. “I swore no oaths,” he said. “But I walk the path he carved.”

The knight knelt. “Then I must report to the palace. The kingdom must know the Typhoon walks again.”

Vash paused, eyes narrowing. “There is no kingdom. Only ruins. Only war gods and ghosts.”

And with that, he stepped into the storm, coat blazing like a comet, heading toward the heart of Horai’s shattered legacy—where the final god waited, and the fate of all worlds would be decided.
