The sky shimmered with fractured light, as if reality itself had cracked open. Beneath the ruins of the Moonlit Citadel, I found the first clue: a whisper etched into obsidian stone—

Everything will become clear. I wish I knew what everything was.

Was it the truth behind the war of shadows? The meaning of the dreams that haunted me since childhood? Or the reason my soul felt like it had been asleep for centuries?

No time to dwell. The ten crystal dragons were still bound in the Vault of Echoes, each imprisoned in a prism of forgotten emotion—rage, sorrow, longing, joy, fear, hope, guilt, desire, silence, and love. Only by freeing them could I summon the Balloonist, the ancient traveler who ferries souls between worlds.

This place—this realm—was strange. The trees hummed with memories. The rivers flowed upward. The stars blinked like eyes watching from beyond. And somewhere, buried beneath the shifting sands of Grundo’s Mirage, lay the treasure that could rewrite fate.

I wasn’t alone. A girl with silver hair and a mask of feathers walked beside me. She said nothing, but her presence steadied my heart. We passed through the Forest of Forgotten Names, crossed the Bridge of Breathing Stone, and entered the Temple of Hollow Light.

There, I saw him.

Koji Minamoto.

Or rather, the echo of his spirit—wrapped in flame and moonlight, suspended in a crystal cocoon. He looked like me. Or who I might become.

> “You are not broken,” he said. “You are paused. Awaken.”

And then I remembered.

The battles. The fall. The promise.

The dragons roared as their prisons shattered. The Balloonist descended in a vessel woven from starlight and memory. And as I stepped aboard, the world folded inward, revealing the Other Side.

Where I would awaken.

Where I would become the greatest warrior of all—once again.

But first, we had to find the treasure of Grundo.
