Subject: Classified File #998 – The Black Angel & The Bio-Boost
From: King Enma, Ruler of the Spirit World
To: Yusuke Urameshi, Spirit Detective
Dear Yusuke,
In all my reign, nothing seemed more natural than choosing Shinobu Sensui.
You look at him now and see a monster, but you must understand—he was the perfect instrument. He was a child prodigy, a soul spun from pure light. He didn’t just sense apparitions from a young age; he had the divine authority to unmake them. To Sensui, the universe was binary. It was a chessboard of absolute morality.
Apparitions were Black. Humans were White.
There was no hesitation in his hand. If it crawled from the Makai, it was evil, so he destroyed it. He was the bleach that scrubbed the stains from the living world. I thought I had found the ultimate guardian, a sword that would never dull.
But I failed to calculate the weight of the "Gray."
The Feast of Vices
It happened the night he breached the Black Black Club. He was expecting to find demons tormenting humans. Instead, he found the inverse. He saw humans bathing in the blood of the weak, laughing with a cruelty that no demon could replicate.
He didn’t just see evil; he saw truckloads of gray.
The moral clarity he relied on shattered. The White was stained. The Black was victimized. And Sensui, the boy of absolute justice, snapped. In that basement, amidst the stench of human sin, Sensui took his own life. Or, he tried to.
That is where the records you know end, and the truth begins.
The Control Metal
Sensui possessed an artifact we thought was merely a spiritual amplifier—the Unit. We did not know it was ancient, alien technology. The Guyver.
When Sensui’s heart stopped, when his will to live evaporated because his world view had crumbled, the Control Metal on his forehead pulsed.
The Guyver unit is designed for survival. It does not care about philosophy. It does not care about the "Gray." It cares only about the continuation of the host.
It was a horrifying miracle. Tendrils of bio-organic cabling erupted from the metal, stitching his severed arteries, forcefully pumping his heart, overriding his desire for death. The armor wrapped him in a cocoon of alien muscle and hyper-steel. It regenerated him because his mission was not over.
The Collapsed Road
So, what was he supposed to do? Just return to life as usual?
He woke up gasping, encased in the Bio-Booster Armor, alive against his will. He looked at his hands—hands that had killed demons to save humans—and realized he was now wearing a weapon that could slaughter both with ease.
His road collapsed as time advanced. He could no longer be the Spirit Detective of Justice, because "Justice" was a lie. But he could not die, because the Armor wouldn't let him.
The stress fractured his mind. That is why he has seven personalities, Yusuke. The Guyver adapts to the host's needs. Sensui needed to fragment to survive the contradiction of his existence.
- One personality to hate the humans.
- One to pity the demons.
- One to wield the gun.
- And one, the darkest of them all, to wear the Armor.
He is coming for the boundary tunnel not just to let the demons in, but to find an opponent strong enough to shatter the Control Metal and finally grant him the peace I denied him.
Be careful, Yusuke. You are fighting a man who is already dead, piloted by a machine that refuses to let him go.
