Dark Heart: Ghost of the Shattered Star Southern Rock Type Beat
The sky above the Neo-Domino ruins wasn’t dark; it was hemorrhaging. A distant sun flickered like a dying lightbulb, casting long, jagged shadows across the debris.
"Look," Yugi Muto whispered, his voice trembling as he pointed upward. "A star is going out. We have to hurry."
He turned to the motley crew assembled in the crater: Naruto Uzumaki, still dusting soot from his orange jumpsuit; Yusuke Urameshi, who was cracking his knuckles with a grimace; and Genji, the Lightning Emperor, whose armor hummed with a restless electric current.
"Those creatures that attacked you—the Heartless—they’re after the Keyblade," Yugi continued, his violet eyes wide with a weight no teenager should carry. "But it’s your soul they really want, Naruto. Because you wield that blade, your spirit is a beacon."
"Me?" Naruto barked, gripping the oversized skeletal key. "I'm just a ninja from the Leaf! I don't even know how this thing works!"
Yugi looked down, his hand clutching the Millennium Puzzle. "It’s hard to believe that you, of all people, are the chosen one. We had to get the blade away from you earlier... it was the only way to conceal your soul from them. But it won't work for long. Their scent is too sharp."
The Mission
Yugi straightened his back, the spirit of the Pharaoh momentarily flickering behind his gaze. "We have to find Ansem. He’s the only one who understands the darkness between worlds. But to get to him, we have to pass through the Duelist’s Kingdom."
"Is that where the creepy guy with the long hair is?" Yusuke asked, leaning against a piece of rebar. "The one they call Pegasus?"
"Yes," Yugi said, his voice dropping an octave. "Pegasus has the power to see into hearts. He has the Millennium Eye. He’s already taken my grandfather’s soul to lure us in."
The Impossible Odds
Naruto looked at the Keyblade, then at the dying star. The weight of the world felt heavier than any Nine-Tails seal.
"How am I supposed to fight someone like that?" Naruto asked, his usual bravado cracking. "How can I beat a guy who can tell my hand or even my tactics before I think of them?"
"You don't fight him with tactics," Genji spoke up, his voice a crackle of static and steel. "You fight him with the unpredictable nature of the storm. Even an eye that sees the heart cannot track a lightning bolt that hasn't decided where to strike."
Yugi nodded solemnly. "But I must do it. Grandpa has been taken, and the darkness is closing in. If we don't move now, there won't be a world left to save."
"Believe in the heart of the cards, the soul of the blade, and the spirit of the hunt," Yugi commanded. "Let's move!"
With a flash of gold and a roar of blue chakra, the four heroes vanished into the treeline, racing against a clock that was slowly ticking toward eternal night.
