Delta 6: Curse of the Stained Aura

The fog clung to the cobblestones of the old district like a living thing. Sakura Avalon pulled her cardigan tighter, her mind spinning faster than a Star Card.
"What is my dream trying to tell me?" she whispered to herself. The images—a crumbling tower, a faceless woman, and a key that didn't fit any lock—felt less like a fantasy and more like a warning. "I wish I knew..."
An Unlikely Alliance
She glanced at her companions, still unable to wrap her head around the sheer absurdity of the group.
Ash Ketchum was adjusting his cap, Pikachu perched on his shoulder scanning the rooftops for threats.
Yusuke Urameshi walked with his hands in his pockets, his Spirit Awareness on high alert, looking like he was itching for a fight.
Prince Phobos, elegant and unsettling, trailed slightly behind, his eyes cold and calculating.
"The shrine, Sakura," Ash said, breaking the silence. "Madison was 100% sure. She said a woman named Ms. Mackenzie works there. If anyone knows why we’re all being pulled into this mess, it’s her."
"How did I even get here?" Sakura muttered. One moment she was in Tomoeda; the next, she was crossing dimensions with a Spirit Detective and a magic-wielding prince.
The Crime Scene
Before they could reach the shrine's gates, Yusuke stopped dead. He gestured toward a cordoned-off alleyway near the local high school. "Take a look at these victims," he said, his voice dropping an octave.
Propped against the brick wall were three students, their eyes wide but vacant—not dead, but hollowed out, as if their very essence had been siphoned away.
Phobos stepped forward, a thin, cruel smile touching his lips. "Look at the residue on their uniforms. That isn't random magical exhaustion." He pointed to a faint, glowing mark on the collar of the lead victim—a symbol that mirrored the embroidery on Sakura's own sleeve.
The Realization
"Don't tell me..." Sakura gasped, her heart hammering against her ribs.
"Right there," Yusuke confirmed, his eyes narrowing. "They’re targeting you, Sakura. These kids were just the practice run. Whoever did this was looking for your specific magical signature."
"The attack was no coincidence," Phobos added, his voice a silken thread of dread. "They aren't just looking for a Clow Mistress. They're clearing a path to the shrine."
Sakura looked up at the looming torii gate in the distance. The dream wasn't just a dream anymore—it was a map. And Ms. Mackenzie was the only one left who could tell her why she was the prize in this cross-dimensional game
