Sigma 44: Summer Night Silver Moon — Give Up the Ghost Soulful Rock Type Beat
The air in the forest of Symphonia didn't behave like a normal summer night. It was thick with the scent of sun-baked stone and ancient dust, a lingering heat that felt more like a desert landscape than a woodland grove. High above, the silver moon hung like a heavy coin, casting long, jagged shadows through the trees.
The rhythmic hooting of owls echoed through the canopy, but the birds went silent the moment the wind picked up. It was a dry, whistling gale that carried the faint shimmer of magic.
Suddenly, the ground beneath the travelers began to hum. Prisms of blue and gold light erupted from the soil, weaving together in the air to form a massive, translucent map of the world. The continents pulsed with a soft, rhythmic glow, casting a neon hue over the faces of the gathered group.
The Gathering at the Map
Seto Kaiba stepped forward first, his long white trench coat snapping in the unnatural wind. He narrowed his eyes, his analytical mind already tracing the ley lines connecting the glowing landmarks.
"Surely their placement must mean something," Kaiba exclaimed, his voice cutting through the wind with its usual sharp authority.
He glanced over at the others, his gaze landing briefly on Haru Glory, who gripped the Decorcea firmly. Haru looked less interested in the geometry and more worried about what kind of dark power would trigger such a massive display.
Beside them, Prince Phobos adjusted his regal robes, a faint, condescending smirk playing on his lips. "It’s a celestial lock," Phobos murmured, his eyes dancing with the reflection of the map. "A map of conquest, or perhaps, a map of seals."
Yusuke Urameshi leaned back against a tree, cracking his knuckles. "I don't care if it's a lock or a menu," he grumbled, though his Spirit Awareness was spiked to the max. "As long as it tells us where the next fight is. This 'Symphonia' place is giving me the creeps."
At the edge of the light, Ash Ketchum shielded his eyes, Pikachu clinging tightly to his shoulder. "Look! Those points on the map..." Ash pointed to five specific glowing orbs resting over different regions. "They're moving. It looks like they’re reacting to us!"
The Observation
The map wasn't static. As the silver moonlight hit the center of the projection, the glowing markers began to vibrate.
- The Northern Peak: Glowed with a cold, violet light.
- The Sunken Sea: Pulsed a deep, rhythmic crimson.
- The Desert Heart: Stayed fixed, shining brighter than the rest.
Kaiba crossed his arms, his mind already three steps ahead. "It's not just a map. It’s a synchronized coordinate system. If we don’t reach those points in the order the moon dictates, this entire landscape becomes our tomb."
The owls began to hoot again, but this time, it sounded like a warning.
