Dream Yard 2085: Twilight of the Ghost Unicorn Progressive Rock Type Beat

The desert sun beat down on the ruins of the Desert Resort, turning the sand into a shimmering, golden trap. At the center of a scorched crater, the air didn't just ripple—it hummed with a heavy, stagnant magic.

Prince Phobos paced the perimeter, his regal robes trailing in the dust. He turned his cold gaze toward the group assembled before him. "Thirty years," he hissed. "Thirty years since that November afternoon before the blue moon. If that creature does not rise today, the well of magic runs dry forever."

He stopped in front of Yusuke Urameshi, who was leaning against a crumbling pillar, looking profoundly bored.

"So we have a new enemy and a flying magical horse," Phobos sneered, "but there’s absolutely no trace of them now. Are you sure you don’t know anything about them, Yusuke?"

The Investigation

Yusuke didn't blink. "Look, ponytail, I deal with demons, not sparkly ponies. If your 'last unicorn' is under a sleep spell, he’s doing a damn good job of staying under the radar."

Ash Ketchum adjusted his hat, looking out over the expanse where the meteor had shattered. "Pikachu and I can feel it, though. The energy here... it’s not like a Pokémon. It feels like the world is losing its breath."

Will Vandom gripped the Heart of Kandrakar, which was pulsing a frantic, rhythmic pink. "He’s right. The meteor metal Giovanni told us about—it wasn’t just rock. it was a dampener. It was designed to anchor the spell to this specific coordinate."

The Clashing Perspectives

The tension among the group was thick enough to cut with a Duel Monsters card—which is exactly what Seto Kaiba was holding.

It’s a localized distortion," Kaiba said, glancing at his wrist computer. "The meteor metal acted as a lightning rod for the spell. Whatever is holding that horse is buried five hundred meters below the sand."

The Final Hour

Kurama interjected, his voice calm but lethal. "Then we stop talking. If the magic fades from his horn, the boundaries between our worlds will collapse. The 'new enemy' who placed the spell is likely waiting for the exact moment the blue moon peaks to harvest what remains."

Usagi stepped forward, her Crescent Moon Wand beginning to glow. "We aren't letting the magic die. Not today."

The ground began to shake. Deep beneath the Desert Resort, a silver light began to pulse, fighting against the heavy weight of three decades of silence. The hunt for the last unicorn had reached its endgame.
