Starlight Reflection: Princess of the Moon and the Golden Dream Castle Pop Rock Type Beat

The air in the Mirror World didn't just feel cold; it felt wrong. It was a heavy, greasy kind of cold that clung to the lungs like damp wool.
"There’s a feeling of something evil here," Botan exclaimed, her voice uncharacteristically sharp. She gripped her oar tightly, the blue light of her spirit energy flickering against the distorted reflections of the landscape.
The Shattered Kingdom
They were standing in what used to be the Golden Kingdom, Elysion. Once a realm of eternal sunset and soft breezes, it had been warped into a jagged, monochrome nightmare. Beside Botan, Yusuke Urameshi cracked his knuckles, his eyes darting toward the obsidian shadows shifting between the marble pillars.
"Keep your guard up," Yusuke warned, his Spirit Reflection already humming around his fists. "This place smells like a Spirit World dump site."
Usagi whimpered, clutching her transformation brooch, while Haru stood tall, her hand resting on the hilt of her blade. Behind them, Prince Phobos surveyed the wreckage of the kingdom with a cold, calculating gaze. He wasn't here out of the goodness of his heart—he was here because Elyon had been missing for months, and without the Light of Meridian, the balance of all worlds was tilting into chaos.
More Than a Dream
"Remember what Taranee told us," Haru whispered, her voice echoing too loudly in the silence. "She warned us before we crossed over. She told Yusuke and Phobos that the invader isn't actually in our dreams."
"Right," Yusuke muttered, recalling the Guardian's frantic explanation. "They aren't just haunting us while we sleep. They’re using our own powers to manifest the effects of the dream into this reality. If we dream of fire, the Mirror World burns. If we dream of monsters..."
"Then we're fighting our own shadows," Phobos finished, his eyes narrowing. "A clever, if tedious, parlor trick. But it has cost us Elyon."
The Disaster’s Wake
Before the disaster, Elysion had been the jewel of the dreamscape. Now, the silver trees were weeping black ichor, and the sky was a cracked mirror reflecting a sun that provided no light. The "invader" had turned the kingdom’s beauty into a weapon, feeding off the collective subconscious of the group to build a fortress of nightmares.
As they moved deeper into the ruins, a familiar silhouette appeared atop a jagged spire of glass. It was Elyon, but she wasn't moving. She sat enthroned in a cage of solidified screams, her eyes closed in a deep, forced slumber.
"Elyon!" Usagi cried out, stepping forward.
"Wait!" Botan shouted, reaching out to grab her. "Look at the ground!"
The floor beneath them began to ripple like water. Their own reflections weren't mimicking them anymore—the reflections were climbing out of the glass, wearing twisted grins and wielding weapons made of dark thought.
"Whatever you do," Yusuke yelled, leveling his finger at the nearest shadow, "don't think about losing!"
