Crushing Worlds, Mighty Champions, and Abandoned Royalty Shoegaze Type Beat
The sky over the Death Buster heartland was a swirling vortex of cosmic decay. In the center of this wasteland sat the Academy—a glistening, sterile fortress of glass and steel that felt like a needle piercing a wound.
Inside the throne room of the Academy, the air was heavy with the scent of ozone and antiseptic. Yusuke stood in the center of the hall, his spirit energy flickering like a dying candle, while Usagi leaned against a pillar, her face pale.
Standing before them was the Architect, a man who had once been the lead geneticist for the world’s greatest nations. He had spent decades perfecting the "Super Life Form," only to sell his research to the highest bidder to fund this private empire.
The Burden of Absolute Power
"You're holding back, Yusuke," the Architect said, his voice echoing through the sterile hall. "Why? Because you're afraid of the monster inside? The truth is, you can do whatever you want. If you truly got mad, you could destroy this whole kingdom—and the one you came from—and no one could stop you."
He stepped down from his dais, his eyes cold and clinical. "But what’s next? That’s the question hidden beneath all your other feelings. Boredom? Guilt? If you break the world, you have to live in the ruins."
Usagi looked at the monitors surrounding them, showing rows of stasis tanks filled with genetic abominations. "You sold out your own kind for this? For a school of monsters?"
"I didn't sell out," the scientist replied smoothly. "I evolved. I moved past the petty needs of humanity."
The Prince’s Fury
A crash shook the foundations of the Academy. A streak of gold and blue tore through the ceiling as Vegeta landed, his armor cracked and his cape scorched. Behind him, Kakarot hovered, his expression unusually grim.
Vegeta didn't look at the scientist; he looked at the man he had called his rival for a lifetime. He listened to the Architect’s offer of godhood, and his blood began to boil.
"Kakarot!" Vegeta shouted, his voice cracking the reinforced glass of the nearby tanks. "Listen to this fool! He speaks of evolution while standing in a cage of his own making!"
Vegeta turned his glare toward the scientist, his aura erupting in a violent flare of blue light.
"You think you’ve ascended because you threw away your heart?" Vegeta spat, stepping forward. "You forsake everything and dare to call my cause trivial? I don't fight for a throne anymore, and I don't fight for your 'perfected' genetics."
He slammed a fist against his chest plate. "I fight for the oath I made to a fellow warrior! I fight for my own pride and for all that I am! Unlike you, I won't abandon all that just to play god!"
The Clash of Ideals
Kakarot landed softly beside Vegeta, a small, knowing smile on his face. "He's right. Power without a reason to use it... that's just a lonely way to live."
Yusuke looked at his hands, the dark energy of his demon-kin heritage finally settling into a steady, controlled glow. The fear was gone. The "What's next?" didn't matter if he didn't have his soul to carry into the future.
"The Academy is closed," Yusuke said, his voice dropping to a dangerous register.
The scientist backed away, realizing too late that he had gathered the only four people in the universe who valued their humanity more than his version of perfection. The "Super Life Forms" in the tanks began to stir, but they were nothing compared to the pride of a Prince and the resolve of a Spirit Detective.
