The Holy Stream, Ten Stellar Jewels, and the Spectral Railroad(intro) Glam Rock Type Beat

In the realm of Xanadu Republic, under the neon-glow of a flickering atmospheric shield, the High Decree had been carved into the very bedrock of the state: a stately treasure dome was to be built where the sacred river Styx surged.

This wasn't the river of myth, but a rushing torrent of spectral energy that ran through caverns so vast and deep they were truly measureless to man. It flowed with a haunting rhythm, eventually spilling out into a strangely sunlit sea that defied the laws of the subterranean world.

The Walls of Xanadu

Surrounding this miracle of architecture were five miles of fertile ground, protected by walls and towers that didn't just stand—they swirled. They moved in a slow, hypnotic rotation to keep the living out and the essence in. Within these walls:

  • Incense-bearing trees blossomed, their scent heavy enough to ground a soul.
  • Ancient burial grounds hummed with the static of the departed.
  • Spectral mist clung to the battlements like a living shroud.

The Arrival of the Apparitions

The dead are rarely patient. The apparitions of the old world began to gather at the edge of the swirling towers, drawn by the magnetic pull of the treasure dome. They didn't walk, and they didn't fly—they waited for the Ghost Train.

A screech of rusted iron against ethereal tracks echoed through the caverns. This was a vessel of cold light and shadow, a heavy iron beast designed for one purpose: to transport Apparitions, and only Apparitions. No heart that beats is permitted to pass its threshold.

A Warning to the Living

The Ghost Train is a terrifying sight, a blur of silver and smoke that bridges the gap between the "here" and the "gone." It has a history of picking up stray souls who wander too close to the tracks of the supernatural.

"Be wary of the whistle in the dark," the locals whisper. "For the tracks do not care if your blood is warm or cold."

You might think yourself a hero, a traveler of worlds, or a master of spirits. But history is full of those who climbed aboard by mistake:

  • Ash Ketchum, who chased a shadow too far into the purple haze of Lavender Town.
  • Phobos, the rightful King of Meridian, who found something even he dreaded within those cars.
  • Yusuke Urameshi, the Spirit Detective who forgot that even detectives can be passengers.
  • Yugi Muto, whose games couldn't save him from a ticket he never meant to buy.

So, take heed as you wander the fertile grounds of the Xanadu Republic. If you hear the rhythmic chug-a-thump of a train that casts no shadow, stay clear of the platform. Unless, of course, you’re ready for a one-way trip to the sunlit sea.
