Legend of the Painted Realm: Escape from Goblin City! Glam Rock Type Beat

The heavy mist of Meridian clung to the ground, swirling around the boots of the most mismatched fellowship the realms had ever seen. Before them stood a monolithic slab of cold, reinforced steel. The letters G and C were etched into the metal with brutal, industrial precision.
Yusuke Urameshi stepped forward, squinting at the engravings. He rubbed the back of his neck, the familiar itch of a Spirit Detective’s intuition kicking in. "I know I’ve seen this gate before," he muttered, kicking a loose stone. "But where the hell was it?"
"Perhaps in one of those drab human warehouses you frequent?" Prince Phobos  & James of Team Rocketsneered, his regal robes trailing in the dirt. He looked at the gate with utter revulsion. "The craftsmanship is… offensive."
Suddenly, the air vibrated with a sharp, 8-bit trill. A voice, crackling with the digital distortion of a 1980s arcade cabinet, boomed from the hidden speakers:
"WELCOME TO GOBLIN CITY! WHERE YOU AND YOUR TEAM OF SEVEN HEROES MUST CLASH SWORDS WITH THE EVIL GOBLIN KING!"
The Divided Front
The group reacted with various levels of annoyance and dread:
Irma rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Great. A boss fight. Does it come with extra lives, or are we playing on ‘Permadeath’ mode?"
Will gripped the Heart of Kandrakar, its glow pulsing in rhythm with the electronic hum. "Seven heroes? It counted us correctly. That means it’s been watching us since we left the castle."
Yugi looked at the gate with a scholarly frown. "The energy here doesn't feel like shadow magic... it feels like a program. Like a Duel Monsters field expansion."
Kaiba simply scoffed, his trench coat snapping in the wind. "Primitive technology. If this 'Goblin King' thinks a steel door and some low-fidelity audio will stop me, he’s more delusional than Wheeler."
A Matter of Taste
Phobos stepped toward the gate, his lip curling as he traced a jagged, rusted seam in the metal.
"Hideous," he hissed. "Even worse than the rebels' hideouts in the lower city. I hate art that fits today’s definition of 'beautiful.' It lacks discipline. It lacks order. It tends to breed rebels who think they have the right to an opinion."
Yusuke gave a short, sharp laugh. "Spoken like a guy who’s about to get punched in the face by a goblin. Look, Phobos, if you hate the decor, help us break it down. I’m tired of walking."
Kaiba stepped forward, a holographic card shimmering in his hand. "Out of the way, Prince. I don't have time for a critique of the architecture. If this is a city, it has a mainframe. And if it has a mainframe, I own it."
The gears behind the steel door began to grind, a sound like teeth on metal. The quest through Meridian had been grueling, but as the "GC" gate groaned open, the neon-flecked darkness of Goblin City awaited.
