Prince Phobos: Journey to the Castle of Infinite Night Glam Rock Type Beat

The air in the humid Hoenn jungle felt heavy, thick with the scent of damp earth and something far more clinical—the metallic tang of a high-tech facility hidden where it didn’t belong.

​"It isn’t true! It just can’t be!" Elyon’s voice cracked, her knees buckling as she stared at the man before her.

​Cedric leaned in, his eyes narrowed into reptilian slits. His voice was a low, melodic hiss that felt like velvet over a blade. "But don’t you see how this explains everything, child? You never fit in here because you don't belong here. You were born in Meridian—a kingdom of light far from this provincial world."

​He bowed low, a mocking flourish of his hand. "I cannot lie to Meridian’s rightful Princess. Your brother, King Phobos, has been searching for you for a lifetime. He is waiting."

​The Hidden Base

​A few yards away, shielded by a dense thicket of ferns, a very different group was watching the exchange.

​"It’s an underground building," Professor Birch whispered, adjusting his glasses as he peered through the brush. "I don’t know... it looks like more than just a bunch of ruins. It’s high-tech."

​Ash Ketchum gripped Pikachu’s shoulder, his eyes locked on the crimson-clad guards patrolling the perimeter. "It’s Team Magma," he grunted. "They’ve been causing all kinds of trouble across the region. If they’re working with that creepy snake-guy, it’s worse than we thought."

​Beside them, Prince Phobos stood tall, his long hair catching the stray beams of sunlight. He looked at the facility with a cold, detached hunger. He didn't care about Team Magma’s goals of expanding the landmass; he only cared about the power radiating from within that bunker.

​The Disconnect

​"It’s not what I sensed, though," Yusuke Urameshi interjected. He was leaning against a tree, his Spirit Gun hand tucked casually into his pocket, but his jaw was tight. He looked toward his mentor. "Genkai, you feel that?"

​The elderly psychic nodded grimly.

​"It’s what I didn't sense," Yusuke continued, his eyes tracking Cedric. "Like who I saw wasn't the real thing. It’s a hollow vibe. If Toguro was all the fast ball, this guy definitely likes the curve. He’s throwing out illusions like he’s got a deck of marked cards."

​"He’s a shapeshifter," Genkai warned, her voice a raspy tether to reality. "And the girl is the battery they’re all trying to plug into."

​Ash looked at Yusuke, then back at Elyon, who was reaching out a trembling hand toward Cedric. "We can't just stand here. If that guy is lying to her, she’s in serious danger!"

​"Pika-pi!" Pikachu sparked, cheeks glowing with electricity.

​"Hold your Rapidash, kid," Yusuke muttered, finally pulling his hand out of his pocket as a blue spark of Spirit Awareness flickered at his fingertips. "If we're going in, we do it fast. I’ve had enough of guys who talk with silver tongues. It’s time to see if his jaw stays in place when it hits the floor."

  the concept of this album is inspired by a joe rogan podcast i was listening to with my brother, where there was a part where he was talk about how we don't do big trials for "right of passage" into manhood anymore. which for some reason it never occurred to me before but eventually inspired this album idea which the title is from a line from the movie Ernest goes to camp.. the idea of the album.
