The Gates of Time, the Shadowy Cauldron of Darkness, and the Noble Wolf Tribe. Hard Rock Type Beat
The digital clock on the bedside table flickered 3:33 AM. Yusuke Urameshi sat up, his skin slick with a cold sweat that felt like ice water.
"The same dream every night," he muttered, his voice raspy. "And I think I know why."
He stumbled out of bed, his legs feeling like lead. As he reached for his shirt, the mirror caught a glimpse of his shoulder. There, glowing with a faint, rhythmic pulse, was the Mark of the Four War Gods. It wasn't just a scar anymore; it was a beacon. The Cauldron of Resonance was awakening in the void between worlds, and the gates of time were beginning to creak open.
The Stolen Map
The crisis had started weeks ago when two Guardians from another realm, Will and Irma, tracked a temporal disturbance to the Human World. They had been hunting for the missing piece of Phobos’ Map, a relic capable of rewriting the boundaries of reality.
They found the culprits, but even the combined strength of the Spirit Detective and the Guardians wasn't enough. In a shocking alliance of past villains, Toguro and Sensui had intercepted the map. However, their victory was hollow.
"It’s blank," Sensui had remarked with a cold, hollow laugh before vanishing into a rift.
The map was a shell. To reveal the path to the Cauldron, it required the Heart of Meridian. But according to the oldest folk tales of the Spirit World, the Heart hadn't been seen in centuries. It was whispered to have been carried away to the frozen North, protected by the aurora-draped spirit of the North Wind: Aka Suicune.
A Journey to the Lab
Yusuke knew he couldn't punch his way out of a mystical seal involving ancient maps and legendary creatures. He needed a bridge between the supernatural and the biological.
He grabbed his jacket and headed toward the outskirts of Pallet Town, where a single light burned in a famous windmill-topped laboratory. If anyone understood the migration patterns of legendary entities and the resonance of ancient artifacts, it was the man who had seen it all.
Yusuke pounded on the heavy oak door. After a moment, a tired but sharp-eyed man in a lab coat opened it.
"Yusuke? It's three in the morning," Professor Samuel Oak said, adjusting his spectacles as he noticed the glowing mark on Yusuke's shoulder. His expression shifted from groggy to grim. "I see. The resonance has reached you too. Come in quickly. We have much to discuss regarding the North Wind and the gates you're about to open.""
