Legend of the Black Rose: Secret Codex of the Dark Omens

The canopy of the forest in Meridian hung low, heavy with the stench of scorched earth and lingering dark magic. Shadows stretched long against the moonlight as the group regrouped beneath the towering, ancient trees.
"The whispers were right," Will Vandom said, her fingers tracing the rigid, silver trim of an ornate, locked tome resting on a mossy stone altar. "All of our mysterious enemy's plans for our sister, Queen Elyon, are bound inside this book. We’ve tried every spell, every force imaginable to force it open..." She paused, her eyes widening as her thumb brushed against a raised, intricate crest on the cover. "Wait... the seal of Phobos. It’s not just a mark—it’s a key," Will said, turning directly to her brother, Prince Phobos.
The former tyrant standing beside them crossed his arms, his white hair catching the pale starlight as he offered a cold, knowing smirk. Having three royal siblings tied to the throne of Meridian meant their bloodline held secrets even the ancient codex couldn't easily hide.
"It all started a while back, when the pixies were suddenly kidnapped by shadow creatures in the dark forest," Darcy added softly, her dark cloak rustling as she stepped out from the treeline. Once an enemy, the former witch of the Trix was now standing on the heroes' side, her sharp gaze scanning the surrounding woods for any sign of ambush. "The master of those dark creatures is a humanoid Phoenix—an armored knight with razor-sharp claws acting as their leader. It was the ancient people of Domino that first discovered the existence of the sacred power, Soma. But these days, a shadow lurks over the kingdom as if ill tidings and bad omens float in the very air."
"There's no doubt about it—it was one of my men," Phobos mused, his voice smooth and calculating as he looked down at Will. "Though it would take the skill of a Svall to accomplish a raid like that... but the only one left has been dead for years."
Before any of the siblings or their allies could deliberate further, the temperature in the forest plummeted. A violent gust of wind swept through the trees, extinguishing the faint glow of the surrounding flora. High above them, perched on a jagged branch, a towering shadow materialised—the armored Phoenix knight, his glowing eyes cutting through the gloom.
With a swift, terrifying motion, the creature dropped to the earth, his heavy boots crushing the soil and his metallic claws glistening in the dark.
"You will tell me the location of the Pixie Village!" the mysterious villain shouted, his voice echoing through the forest like grinding stone as he aimed his gaze at Will and Bloom. "I will eliminate you one by one until you tell me! That's where the Codex is, isn't it?!"
He raised a clawed hand, dark energy swirling around his fist as he glared at the assembled group.
"Now speak... or suffer!"
