Lunalis Voice: The Desert King and the Heart of All Worlds Album outro Beat

The sun over the desert of Xanthe did not merely shine; it attempted to obliterate everything beneath it.
For seven days, the unusual fellowship had trudged across the unending dunes, guided only by an ancient, star-chart map that Elyon claimed she could read through the pulsing magic of her bloodline. Their destination was the Lunar Sepulcher, a legendary temple supposed to appear only when the twin moons were at their zenith, guarding the gateway to the ultimate source of existence: the Heart of All Worlds.
They were a fragile alliance of heroes, villains, and shadows, driven by desperate needs that forced them to keep pace with the shifting sands.
At the head of the group were the siblings of Meridian. They were a study in tension. Will Vandom, the eldest by a twist of dimensional fate, carried the weight of leadership. Her hand constantly sought the Heart of Kandrakar, a glowing crystal nestled against her chest, its inner quintessence pulsing in rhythm with her own heartbeat. She walked between her biological brother, Prince Phobos, and their younger sister, Elyon.
Phobos, even in simple travelers' robes, retained the posture of a tyrant. His long silver hair was braided to keep it from his face, and his amethyst eyes never stopped analyzing their companions, judging their utility, planning eventual betrayals. He was only here because the alternative was eternal imprisonment, and his own raw power was needed to breach the temple’s final seals.
"Your mapping skills are as archaic as your world’s customs, sister," Phobos drawled, brushing dust from his sleeve. "The heat is beginning to affect my temper."
"Then try not to ignite it, Phobos," Will snapped, her tone practiced in dealing with him. "Elyon is doing her best. If you don't like it, feel free to turn back."
Elyon, carrying the staff of the Light of Meridian, said nothing. She was the anchor. Her connection to the magical essence of her home realm gave them sight in the blinding glare, her magic creating brief bursts of cool air that kept them moving. She felt the pulling of the moon temple, a vibration in her very bones.
Behind the siblings walked the most unnerving of their allies. Xemnas, Superior of Organization XIII, moved with an impossible, liquid elegance. His white coat remained pristine despite the conditions. He did not seem to be part of the desert, but rather a hole in its reality, a silhouette of darkness in the brilliant light. He spoke rarely, and when he did, his voice was a hollow resonance.
"Your heart beats loudly, Guardian," Xemnas murmured to Will, his eyes fixed on the horizon. "A useless, noisy machine. Darkness needs no such rhythm."
"It’s not useless," Will replied defiantly, though she felt a chill despite the heat. "It’s what connects us. What about your goal? Is the Heart of All Worlds just another Kingdom Hearts for you to steal?"
"Kingdom Hearts is a collection of fragments," Xemnas said. "The Heart of All Worlds is the original source. To step into it... is to cease needing. To become absolute."
Keeping a respectful, but watchful distance from Xemnas were Diaz and the two agents from Get Backers.
Diaz, the master of Shadow Skill, was the warrior among them. Dressed in leather and carrying the heavy sword Kurogane, he moved with silent efficiency, his eyes sharp for traps or monsters. He was here to ensure the siblings survived long enough to use their keys, a silent debt to Yan Lin that he had sworn to repay. He didn't understand the magic of this world, but he understood protection.
Lastly were Masaki Kurusu and Kyogi Kagimi. They were from the Infinity Fortress, masters of a different kind of reality. They were here on commission, hired to retrieve something from within the temple by an anonymous client. Masaki, a warrior of impeccable skill, walked with a relaxed calmness that Diaz recognized.
"This is quite an eclectic collection of misery, wouldn't you say, Kagimi-san?" Masaki asked, his eyes half-closed against the sun.
Kyogi Kagimi, the scientist of the group, was looking at a portable sensor device. "Fascinating," he muttered. "The dimensional pressure here is unlike anything I've recorded. The separation between worlds is incredibly thin. It’s consistent with the theory of a singular, originating nexus." He looked at the group ahead. "I wonder which one of them will succumb first."
Night fell with a brutal suddenness, the temperature crashing. And then, the sky changed. The typical stars were eclipsed by the simultaneous rising of twin, enormous moons—one pale silver, the other a deep, ancient bronze. Their light struck the desert floor, and the sand itself began to shift.
"It’s here," Elyon whispered, her voice trembling with excitement and fear. "I can feel the gate. The Light is answering."
Before them, rising from the dunes as if made of the moonlight itself, was the Lunar Sepulcher. It was a cathedral of translucent crystal, its spires reaching towards the moons. The desert became a calm sea of silver dust surrounding it.
But the way was barred. The main entrance was sealed by an massive, circular door carved with constellations from a thousand different galaxies.
They approached the gate. A profound, sacred silence hung over the temple. Will felt the Heart of Kandrakar vibrating violently, its energy screaming to connect. Phobos felt his stolen energy thrumming in response, a hungry longing. Elyon felt the pull of familial duty, the weight of being a key.
"The seal requires three who are one," Elyon said, looking at her siblings. "The strength of Kandrakar, the ambition of Meridian, and the light of the true line."
"A pointless sentiment," Phobos sniffed, but he took his place to the right of the gate, placing his palm on a specific rune.
Will took her place to the left, the Heart glowing fiercely as she made contact.
Elyon stood in the center, placing the staff against the central node.
"Kagimi, analyze the energy signature," Masaki instructed, taking a defensive stance. "The gate opening will draw attention."
"It’s not just magical energy," Kagimi replied, his device beeping rapidly. "It's emotional quintessence. The doors aren't just reading keys; they're reading purpose."
Will shut her eyes, focusing all her thoughts on protection, on her friends, on keeping the worlds safe. Phobos thought of absolute rule, of breaking his chains. Elyon thought of the responsibility to her people, of balance. Three conflicting purposes, yet focused on a singular goal.
The gate responded. A low hum resonated, shaking the ground. Lines of pale blue light ran across the carvings, connecting the runes.
"It opens," Xemnas stated, his void-like presence seeming to expand.
But as the heavy gate began to groan inward, another presence arrived. From the top of the sepulcher’s highest spire, a massive shadow detatched itself. A desert wyvern, a beast born of the Xanthe's ancient, dark magic, swooped down. It wasn't a guardian; it was a predator drawn to the release of such power. It roared, a sound that split the sacred silence, its wingspan casting a shadow over the whole fellowship.
The beast intended to kill everyone present and consume the leaking quintessence.
"Masaki," Kyogi said calmly, putting away his sensor.
Masaki smiled slightly. "On it."
Before the wyvern could complete its dive, Masaki was moving. He closed the distance in a blur, his sword drawn. Diaz, recognizing the flow of combat, moved to intercept from the other side, his Kurogane blade raised. The masters of two very different fighting styles met the beast together.
Masaki’s attacks were a sequence of lethal precision, cutting at the beast’s sensitive wing joints, his movements graceful and efficient. Diaz used raw, destructive force, hammering at the wyvern’s armored chest, forcing it back.
While they held the beast, Xemnas stepped forward, his Ethereal Blades crackling. He didn't need to fight; he needed the gate to open. He raised his hands, and the shadows around the gate pooled, creating an additional, temporary barrier that kept the sepulcher's own defenses from triggering while the siblings finished the sequence.
"You are nothing," Xemnas hissed at the wyvern, his focus absolute. "The void does not acknowledge your existence."
The gate, its mechanism completed by the combination of Will’s Quintessence, Phobos’s ambition, and Elyon’s light, finally surrendered. It cracked open, revealing not a room, but a vortex of swirling, luminescent energy—an unformed universe, a kaleidoscope of hearts.
"Quickly," Will said, her voice strained.
The four behind the siblings—Xemnas, Diaz, Kyogi, and Masaki—did not wait. They had paid for entry. They ran past the Meridians and plunged directly into the vortex. The siblings, too close to the mechanism to leave it safely, could only watch as the others vanished into the Heart of All Worlds.
The moment they were inside, the sepulcher's real defenses activated. The energy of the opening vortex slammed into the wyvern. The beast shrieked as it was vaporized by the sheer magnitude of pure quintessence.
Will, Elyon, and Phobos were thrown backward into the sand. The gate slammed shut, the light of the constellations fading. The Lunar Sepulcher began to sink back into the desert dunes, its time complete.
Will sat up, gasping for breath, the Heart of Kandrakar calm again. Elyon was looking at the retreating temple with an expression of profound wonder. Phobos was already standing, looking toward the horizon, calculating what he had just seen, what he had just helped unleash.
"They're in," Will whispered. "What do you think they'll do?"
"Whatever they want, Guardian," Phobos replied, his eyes cold. "They have entered the nexus of creation. And we... have become the janitors who opened the door."
They stood alone in the desert, under the dying light of the twin moons, knowing that they had changed everything, and that the story had only just truly begun.
