Heart of Aredia: Darkar's Crimson Dawn
It was the ancient people of the holy nation of Ashlina, in the legendary kingdom of Domino, who first discovered the existence of a sacred force coursing through all living things: the power of Soma. Even now, through centuries of upheaval and forgotten magic, Soma flows continuously through the veins of the cosmos, watching over the realm with a quiet, glowing radiance.
Yet, these days, a suffocating shadow hangs heavy over the kingdom of Meridian. The air in Kuruda carries a bitter chill, laced with anxiety and bad omens that stir the heart with dread.
Inside the high council chamber of Kandrakar, the mood was solemn. Maps of distant worlds lay unrolled across the massive stone table, flickering under the dim light of floating embers.
"After a close examination brought forth by Diaz and Prince Phobos," a elder herald announced, his voice echoing against the vaulted ceiling, "we must conclude our enemy is far stronger than we anticipated."
Sixteen years ago, the realm of Kandrakar stood on the absolute brink of destruction. A dark, insidious entity escaped from the deep void, tearing through dimensional boundaries and leaving devastation in its wake.
"The three Ancestral Witches who destroyed Domino are the ones behind that original ruin," the herald continued, gesturing to ancient, battle-worn parchments. "But the threat has mutated. They have forged new alliances. Maleficent has joined their ranks—and now, Narissa walks among them."
The heavy oak doors of the chamber swung open with a resounding thud.
"Considering your description of the recent events—the strategic kidnapping of the pixies, the corruption of pure magic, and his eventual transformation into a Shadow Phoenix—our true enemy is clear," declared Bloom, leader of the Winx Club, as she stepped into the hall. Her eyes burned with fiery resolve.
Flanking her was Will Vandom, leader of the Guardians of the Veil, her hand resting instinctively over the glowing Heart of Kandrakar, and Princess Elyon, the Light of Meridian and sister to Prince Phobos.
"It's Lord Darkar," Bloom added, her voice unwavering as the full weight of the revelation settled over the gathered assembly. "The Shadow Phoenix has returned, and this time, he intends to drain every drop of Soma from the worlds."
