Sword of Solaris: Lunalis Umbra – Fall of the Crimson Kandrakar

The ethereal mist of the void curled around Prince Phobos’s boots as he steadied himself, brushing off the phantom dust of a dozen folded dimensions.
"Oh, this place... At least I'm all here," Phobos muttered, adjusting the high collar of his mantle. He scanned the shimmering expanse, his sharp eyes narrowing. "Hey! Is anyone here?!"
"Who's that? Where are you?" a calm, distant voice echoed back. Out of the pale gloom stepped a youth with dual-colored eyes and silver hair, carrying a enigmatic aura of starlight and shadow.
Phobos folded his arms, eyeing the stranger up and down. "Hey... aren't you Yozora?"
The youth paused, hand instinctively hovering near his hip. "How do you know that? Who are you?"
"I'm Scarface," Phobos lied smooth as silk, casting a dark, majestic smirk across his face. "Scarface."
Yozora's eyes widened slightly, studying the royal tyrant's commanding presence. "You're Scarface? Well... if you are who you say you are, and it was fate that brought me here, then my path is clear. I was sent here to save Scarface."
Phobos chuckled darkly, letting the prince's arrogance bleed through his false title. "Save me? A noble sentiment, boy, but save yourself first. We stand on the precipice of a collision between worlds."
Phobos gestured toward the horizon, where the glowing spires of the majestic temple of Kandrakar hung suspended above a sea of swirling clouds.
"Since ancient days, it's been said that Kandrakar is a land that is easy to defend and impossible to attack," Phobos mused, his eyes gleam with calculating ambition. "Its palace is situated on an island surrounded by a jagged mountain range. And yet, even now, a massive army from Zibmala is about to attack Kuruda."
Yozora frowned, stepping alongside the prince. "When?"
"So... the next full moon," Phobos confirmed smoothly.
"You're positive?"
"That's what Lunalis Umbra said," Phobos replied, his voice dripping with sinister certainty. He turned his attention back toward the distant realm of Meridian, where darker forces were stirring. "The Sword of Power... a relic of pure strength, part of the heritage of the royal family of Meridian. That means it belongs to Will Vandom."
Yozora looked toward him, sensing the underlying web of betrayal. "Why are the witches after it?"
"Because power attracts parasites," Phobos said, his lip curling into a sneer. "Will Vandom's selection as Guardian of Meridian may have been to protect her sister, Queen Elyon, the Heart of Meridian... but the game was rigged from the start. Narissa tricked Elyon into giving her the Heart of Meridian."
Phobos turned to Yozora, extending a hand clad in royal velvet. "So you see, 'savior'... if you intend to save me, you will have to help me reclaim what was stolen. A storm is coming for Kandrakar, Kuruda, and Meridian alike—and only those with the strength to command fate will survive it."
