Aredia Chronicles: Heart of the Shadow Abyss

The ambient hum of Kandrakar’s high arches was replaced by a sharp, biting draft. The Council Chamber was unnaturally cold, stripped of the ancient magical warmth that usually sustained it.
"I need you to write down the greatest story ever told," Will Vandom said, pacing nervously across the central dais. She adjusted the collar of her tunic, her bright red hair stark against the pale stone.
