The Phantom Shrine: Rise of the Dark Prince
The marks on the mirror were Voodoo," Martin Mystery declared, his voice echoing in the dimly lit shrine. Diaz and Darkness nodded in agreement, their expressions serious. "Psychosomatic injuries are a clear sign," he added, gesturing towards the jagged scratches.
Prince Phobos, his features etched with concern, spoke up. "This means we're dealing with something powerful, something that can affect the physical world from the spiritual realm."
Sakura Avalon, her brow furrowed in concentration, suggested, "It's time for some research." She turned to the legend dex, a massive tome of ancient knowledge. "Type 'still water' into the search," she directed.
The legend dex whirred and clicked as it processed the request. Finally, it revealed the tale of a Voodoo shaman who had once lived in the area. He had been run out of town after using a talisman to control the townspeople.
"So, I was standing by the shrine with Will and Diaz," Sakura thought to herself, her mind flashing back to a previous encounter. "Diaz left to look for the portal, and Will looked into the legend dex."
"But what about Darkness?" Sakura's thoughts drifted back to the current situation. "Only an heir to the Meridian throne can take the seal from Narissa because of the heart of Kandrakar. And the only other available heir is Prince Phobos, with Will and Elyion captured."
The pieces of the puzzle were starting to fall into place, but the picture they formed was a grim one. The Voodoo shaman's presence, the psychosomatic injuries, and the search for an heir to the Meridian throne all pointed towards a dangerous confrontation.
"We have to stop him," Martin Mystery said, his voice determined. "Before he can inflict any more harm."
"But how?" Sakura asked, her voice trembling slightly. "He's powerful, and we're just kids."
"We're not just kids," Prince Phobos countered, his eyes shining with resolve. "We have the power of friendship and the strength of our convictions. And we have the knowledge of the legend dex."
The friends looked at each other, their faces filled with determination. They knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but they were ready to face whatever challenges lay in their path.
"Together," Sakura said, her voice stronger now. "We can stop him."
And with that, the friends set off, ready to face the Voodoo shaman and restore peace to the town of Still Water.
