Soma Genesis: Heart of Aredia — Legend of the Northern Crown

The air in the grand chamber of Aredia was thick with a stillness that felt less like peace and more like a held breath. Deep within the planet's luminous core, the Soma levels—the primordial essence from which all creation had first sprung—continued to plummet. Day by day, the glowing rivers of raw power dimmed, casting long, desperate shadows across the crystal spires.
"It continues to drop with no end in sight," Will Vandom said, her voice strained as she turned to her siblings. Queen Elyion and Prince Phobos stood beside her, gazing down at the flickering pool of light that supplied their realm with life.
Elyion wrapped her robes tighter around herself, her young face pale. "Could this possibly be someone's doing? Or is it perhaps an ordeal sent down from God above to test the faith of mankind?"
Phobos gave a cold, dismissive chuckle, though his dark eyes betrayed his anxiety. "Faith is a luxury for the weak, sister. If the Soma drains, creation itself unspools. Someone is pulling the thread."
High above the planet's atmospheric veil, shrouded in dark, swirling clouds, that very villain watched. Narissa peered into her scrying pool, her green skin bathed in the dimming golden light of the world below.
"Ah, Aredia... the perfect planet to add a third Heart to my collection," Narissa cackled, her voice echoing off the metallic hull of her leviathan vessel. "Every world has a mystic heart, but this one comes without guardians to protect it! Show me the Heart of Aredia!"
Down on the surface, near the edge of the Whispering Forest, a group had gathered under the weight of a shared premonition. Bloom stood at the front, her fiery aura flickering nervously as she stared into the deep treeline.
"It’s him... the creature that attacked us in Gardenia," Bloom said, her voice dropping to a tense whisper as she motioned to her companions.
Princess Stella stepped up beside her, light swirling around her fingertips, while Tony Jones—the final dreamer—adjusted the strange, glowing artifact strapped to his wrist.
"We're being watched," whispered a trio of wicked witches from the high shadows of the canopy, their voices dry like autumn leaves scraping against stone.
Bloom pulled her flame back, joining Stella and Tony as they retreated toward the ancient obelisk at the center of the clearing. The structure was ancient, carved with runes that seemed to pulse in harmony with Tony’s dreamer artifact.
Tony stepped forward, reading the glowing script engraved into the cold stone: "The Crown of the North is the beginning, and nearly the end."
He turned back to Bloom, Stella, and the royal siblings approaching from the palace gates. The Soma pool behind them gave one final, violent surge before dimming to a barely perceptible ember.
"We can't stop Narissa in the present," Tony said, looking at the fading light of creation. "Your only choice will be to go back in time."
