Knights of Ray-Barrier: The Last Prism of Avalon

The dimensional rift didn’t care for logic; it simply deposited the four of them onto the scorched plains of Altea.

Ash Ketchum brushed the soot off his vest, Pikachu sparking indignantly on his shoulder. Beside him, Tenchi Masaki gripped the hilt of his Master Key, his eyes darting around the desolate landscape. Spyro shook his scales, a small puff of smoke escaping his nostrils, while Haru Glory adjusted the heavy weight of the Decalorce Sword on his back.

"This doesn't look like any Gym circuit I've seen," Ash muttered.

"It’s not Earth, either," Tenchi added, sensing the strange, stagnant energy of the world. "The ley lines here are... bleeding."

The Shadow of the Oracion Seis

Before they could orient themselves, a chilling presence washed over the group. Standing atop a jagged ridge was a man whose very existence felt like a cold blade: Jagen, the most disciplined and lethal member of the Oracion Seis.

He didn't offer a villainous monologue. He simply unsheathed his blade, the air around him shimmering with the dark power of his Combat Force.

"You are anomalies," Jagen said, his voice a low rasp. "And anomalies are to be pruned."

The Battle for Altea

The confrontation was instantaneous. Jagen moved with a speed that defied human biology, appearing in the center of the group like a ghost.

  • The First Strike: Jagen’s blade clashed against Haru’s Eisenmeteor. The impact sent a shockwave through the ground, cracking the dry earth. "You've got a heavy sword, kid," Jagen remarked, "but your heart is too loud."
  • "You've got a heavy sword, kid," Jagen remarked, "but your heart is too loud."

    • The Counter-Attack: Spyro didn't wait. He took to the sky, raining down Fire Breath to box Jagen in. "Let's see how you handle some heat!" the dragon roared.
    • The Tactical Opening: Ash saw the gap. "Pikachu, use Iron Tail on the ground!" The Electric-type slammed its tail down, kicking up a veil of dust and debris to obscure Jagen's vision.

Tenchi stepped forward, his Juraian powers surging. He didn't want to kill, but he knew a predator when he saw one. He manifested a Light Hawk Wing, the glowing energy shield parrying Jagen’s follow-up strike that was aimed squarely at Ash’s throat.

    "Haru, now!" Tenchi shouted.

    The Decalorce Finish

Haru shifted his blade’s form. "Form Six: Mel Force!"

An explosion of vacuum energy blasted forward. Jagen, caught between Spyro’s flames and Haru’s shockwave, was forced to use his ultimate technique, his sword blurring into a defensive dome of pure kinetic redirection.

The collision was blinding. When the dust settled, Jagen stood several yards back, his cape torn, a thin line of blood trickling down his cheek. He looked at the four of them—a Pokémon Master, a Juraian Prince, a Dragon, and the Rave Master.

"A formidable assembly," Jagen conceded, sheathing his sword. "But the Oracion Seis does not fight losing battles of attrition. We will meet again when the stars align differently."

In a swirl of dark energy, he vanished, leaving the heroes alone in the silence of the wasteland.

    Aftermath

Ash let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah," Haru said, resting his sword on his shoulder. "But if that guy is just one of six... we've got a long walk ahead of us."

Spyro landed, his tail twitching. "I've dealt with Sorceresses and Riptos, but that guy? He was something else. Where to next?"

Tenchi looked toward the horizon, where a distant castle loomed under a dying sun. "We keep moving. As long as we're together, I think we can handle whatever this world throws at us."
