Tales of the Obsidian Wing : Darkness Over Goblin City

The air inside the cavern was thick with the scent of damp earth and ancient iron. Haru Glory gripped the hilt of the Ten Powers, his eyes scanning the jagged shadows.
"This is starting to get interesting," Haru muttered, his voice barely a whisper. "It looks like we're not the only ones to make a trip to Dread Mountain."
Beside him, Leaf of Deltora adjusted his belt, his hand resting near the Broadsword. "The terrain is shifting, Haru. This isn't just a mountain anymore."
The group stepped deeper into the maw of the cave. Behind them, Sailor Moon clutched her Moon Stick, her pigtails twitching with every drip of water from the ceiling, while Yusuke Urameshi cracked his knuckles, a faint blue spark of Spirit Light flickering around his pointer finger.
"Welcome to Goblin City," a disembodied, melodic voice echoed through the halls. "Where you and your team of seven heroes must clash swords with the Goblin King."
The Writing on the Wall
As the echo faded, Hiei—who had been moving like a shadow against the damp stone—stopped abruptly. He pointed to a section of the wall where glowing, crystalline lettering pulsed with a rhythmic light. He read the inscription aloud, his voice devoid of emotion:
"Who exactly am I? All is darkness around me, but I will never despair. There are only three things of which I am sure: I know I am a man. I know where I have been. And lastly, I know what I must do. And for now, that has to be enough."
"Deep," Yusuke remarked, leaning against a stalagmite. "But I don't think a goblin wrote that. Sounds like someone who's lost a lot more than just their way."
The Master's Impatience
Before they could ponder the riddle further, a shrill, grating voice pierced the silence from a tunnel further down. It wasn't the Goblin King; it was something far more petulant.
"You dope! I can't rule the world until you find Pegasus! What is taking you so long?!"
The team rounded the corner to find a bizarre sight. Master Zechonia was pacing frantically atop a pile of stolen loot, snapping his fingers at a cowering goblin messenger. The villain turned, his eyes bulging as he spotted the intruders.
"Oh, great! More 'heroes,'" Zechonia snapped, throwing his hands up in exasperation. "Unless one of you has a winged horse in your pocket, you're officially loitering!"
"We aren't here for horses," Haru said, stepping forward as the Ten Powers began to glow. "We're here to finish this."
Leaf looked at the sprawling, subterranean city ahead of them—a maze of rickety bridges and goblin fires. "Seven heroes, one king, and a world-class headache. Let’s move."
