Legend of the Celestial Gate: Crossing Destinies
The air in the Borderlands was thick with an unnatural, swirling mist—a convergence of disparate worlds that shouldn't exist in the same breath.
The Unlikely Alliance
Inuyasha adjusted his grip on the Tessaiga, his ears twitching. Beside him, Sesshomaru stood like a statue of ice, his gaze fixed on a jagged rift in the sky.
"The scent is foul," Sesshomaru remarked, his voice a cold blade. "It smells of neither demon nor man."
"Whatever it is, it’s coming from that way!" Inuyasha barked, pointing toward a trio of figures emerging from the fog.
From the mist stepped Haru Glory, the Decaforce Sword resting on his shoulder, and Musica, who was idly spinning a silver spear. Between them walked Leif, the young King of Deltora, his hand resting firmly on the Belt of Deltora. The gems—the Diamond, the Emerald, the Lapis Lazuli—glowed with a rhythmic, pulsing light.
The Confrontation
"Hold it!" Inuyasha yelled, leaping forward. "Who are you guys? And what’s with the shiny belt?"
Haru blinked, his hand flying to his sword. "Whoa, easy! We’re just trying to find a way back to the continent of Song. I’m Haru, the Rave Master."
"And I’m the King of Deltora," Leif added, his voice steady despite the intimidating sight of the dog-demon brothers. "The Belt is reacting to a great evil nearby. It brought us here."
Sesshomaru stepped forward, his aura flaring. "A king? You look like a boy playing soldier. And you," he glanced at Musica, "your weapon is made of base silver. Pitiful."
Musica smirked, his Silver Claiming powers thrumming. "Careful, pal. This 'base silver' can become anything I want it to be. Including a muzzle for your big mouth."
The Common Enemy
Before the tension could boil over, the ground shuddered. The rift in the sky tore open, and a swarm of Shadow-Guards—creatures from the Shadow Lord’s realm—poured out, infused with the dark energy of Dark Bring.
"Looks like the introductions are over," Haru shouted, raising his sword. "Form 1: Eisenmeteor!"
"Let’s see what you’ve got, kid!" Inuyasha grinned, drawing his blade. "Wind Scar!"
The battlefield became a symphony of steel and magic:
Haru and Inuyasha led the charge, a chaotic whirlwind of silver hair and heavy strikes.
Musica reshaped his silver into a massive whip, snagging Shadow-Guards out of the air for Sesshomaru to disintegrate with a single flick of the Bakusaiga.
Leif stood at the center, the Belt of Deltora acting as a beacon. The Topaz gave them courage, while the Ruby warned them of unseen strikes from the rear.
"Leif, the rift!" Musica shouted, slamming his spear into a shadow beast. "We have to close it!"
The Final Strike
"I need a distraction!" Leif cried out, holding the Belt aloft. The gems began to shine with a blinding, unified light.
"You got it!" Haru leaped into the air. "Form 6: Mel Force!" The vacuum of air pinned the shadows back.
Inuyasha planted his feet. "Get behind me! Adamant Barrage!" Shards of diamond flew like shrapnel, clearing a path toward the center of the rift.
Sesshomaru moved in a blur of white light, his true power manifesting. He didn't speak; he simply cut through the very fabric of the encroaching darkness, creating a window of opportunity.
Leif ran forward, the Belt of Deltora burning with the purity of seven tribes. He thrust his hand toward the rift. "By the power of Deltora, return to the shadows!"
The light of the Belt collided with the Dark Bring energy. For a moment, the world was white. Then, with a sound like shattering glass, the rift collapsed.
