The Telmarines: Legend of the Realm of Darkness

The shifting mists of the Rift surged once more, and before the light could fade, a fourth figure skidded into the clearing.
Lief of Del stood tall, his cloak tattered from travel but his posture defiant. He didn't look at the strange metal pod or the man with the glowing gun; his eyes were fixed on the belt cinched around his waist. The Belt of Deltora glowed with a fierce, rhythmic intensity, each of the seven gems—from the deep red topaz to the shimmering diamond—pulsing like a heartbeat.
The Guardian Joins
"The shadow is spreading!" Lief shouted, drawing the sword of his father. "It’s not just a leak, Haru—it’s being pulled by the Shadow Lord’s influence from across the borders of my land!"
Gene blinked, looking at the ornate belt. "Great. Another kid with magical jewelry. Does everyone in the multiverse have a fashion sense based on glowing rocks?"
"This 'jewelry' protects a kingdom, Outlander," Lief snapped, though he offered a grim smile of solidarity. He held his sword aloft, and the Topaz on the belt flared, clearing the mental fog and fear that the shadows had been casting over the group.
The Fourfold Assault
The shadow core, sensing a new threat, reformed into a towering titan of dark glass. It lunged at Lief, but Caspian was there in an instant, his shield catching the blow.
"Stand firm, King of Del!" Caspian rallied. "Narnia and Deltora may be worlds apart, but our steel strikes true!"
Lief nodded, the Ruby on his belt beginning to glow a deep, vibrant crimson. "The Belt warns of danger, but it also gives us the strength to overcome it!"
Lief charged, his blade guided by the ancient magic of his heritage. As he struck, the Lapis Lazuli flashed, granting him a burst of heavenly luck. His blade found a hairline fracture in the titan’s armor that hadn't been there a second ago.
"Now, Haru! Gene!" Lief yelled.
Gene provided a suppressive barrage, his Caster gun barking as he cycled through shells to keep the titan’s limbs pinned.
Haru shifted his blade to Melforce, the Command of Wind, creating a vacuum that pulled the shadows toward Lief’s glowing gems.
Lief plunged his sword into the fracture. The power of the seven gems flowed through his arm and into the blade, acting as a conduit of pure, unfiltered light.
A Shared Resolve
The titan didn't just shatter; it evaporated. The oppressive weight lifted from the Rift, replaced by a sense of calm.
Lief breathed heavily, leaning on his sword as the Belt’s glow dimmed to a soft, protective shimmer. He looked at the others—the space pilot, the prince, and the silver-haired warrior. "My journey is to find the gems and save my people," Lief said quietly. "It seems even in the cracks between worlds, that duty never ends."
"You carry your burden well, Lief," Haru said, extending a hand. "The Rave stones and the Belt... they’re different, but they both fight for the same thing."
As the dimensions finally claimed them, Lief felt the familiar pull of the forests of Del. He caught one last glimpse of the strange group—a king, a rogue, and a hero—and knew that if the shadows ever returned, he wouldn't be fighting them alone.
