Gundam Fighter: Relics of the Shadow Realm – Avalon’s Descent

The neon lights of Neo-Tokyo flickered, casting long, jagged shadows across the rain-slicked pavement. Inspector Kurama adjusted his collar, looking at the strange, humming brass cylinder tucked into the alleyway.
"Look at that," he muttered, gesturing with a gloved hand. "Is that a cooling device? Or another piece of junk left over from the skirmish?"
His partner, a weary veteran of the Intergalactic Police, sighed. "You know these fights have totally ruined this town, Inspector. The collateral damage from the mobile suits alone has bankrupt the city three times over."
"Yeah," Kurama replied, his voice bitter. "But this has been happening for sixty years now. What’s the big idea? The colonies don’t care about Earth. To them, we're just a convenient backyard for their grudge matches. These are the times we live in."
Inside the dimly lit Spirit World Command Center, the atmosphere was far more dire. Koenma, sitting atop his high-backed chair and still clutching his signature pacifier, looked over the motley crew assembled before him.
The Briefing
"Listen up," Koenma squeaked, his expression uncharacteristically grave. "A human being emits both body and spirit energy. Usually, they stay in balance. But three artifacts have been stolen from the vault that threaten to tear that balance apart."
He gestured to the four heroes standing in the shadows: Yusuke Urameshi, leaning against a wall; Haru Glory, gripping the Decorceus; Edmund Pevensie, looking regal yet wary; and Domon Kasshu, his King of Hearts crest glowing faintly on his hand.
The Targets
Koenma tapped a screen, displaying three shimmering icons:Your main concern will be recovering these items before they are sold to the colonies," Koenma warned. "The Shadow Sword is already active. If it tastes blood, the infection will spread through the city like a plague."
Yusuke cracked his knuckles, a grin spreading across his face. "So, a sword that turns people into monsters, a mirror that goes haywire at night, and a soul-sucking marble. Just another Tuesday."
Haru raised his sword. "If children are at risk, we don't have time to waste. Domon, can your Gundam track the energy signatures?"
Domon looked up, his eyes burning with intensity. "The Shining Gundam’s sensors are already primed. But the spirit energy in this city is chaotic. We’ll need to move on foot to find the exact locations."
Edmund drew his Western sword, his eyes reflecting a hard-won maturity from his years in Narnia. "The Forlorn Hope... it sounds like something from the Deep Magic. If it reacts to the moon, we only have until sunset to secure it."
"Then move!" Koenma shouted. "The colonies might not care about Earth, but if these artifacts leave
the atmosphere, the entire solar system is forfeit."
