Starlit Chronicles Album Outro
The Whispering Woods did not just murmur; they screamed. The sky over Meridian had turned a bruised purple, the suffocating influence of the Shadow Lord trickling in from the Belt of Deltora. Standing at the edge of the treeline was a group that looked more like a powder keg than a rescue party.
Prince Phobos adjusted his regal high-collar, his expression one of pure disdain. He wasn't there out of the goodness of his heart; the Shadow Lord’s invasion threatened his throne, and he refused to rule a kingdom of ash. "If any of you mortals step on my robes again," Phobos hissed, his hands glowing with green energy, "the Shadow Lord will be the least of your concerns."
"Pipe down, Your Highness," Yusuke Urameshi shot back, cracking his knuckles. "We're all stuck in this dump together. Just keep your magic pointed at the monsters."
Leaf checked the fit of the Belt of Deltora, his eyes scanning the canopy. Beside him, Haru Glory rested the massive Decorce sword on his shoulder, while Takuya Kanbara adjusted his goggles, feeling the Spirit of Fire restless within his D-Tector. Sailor Moon clutched her Moon Stick, her eyes bright with a mixture of fear and resolve. "We have to find the gems," she whispered. "Before the darkness becomes permanent."
Into the Heart of Shadow
The journey was a gauntlet. Deep in the thicket, the earth erupted. Doryu, the monstrous leader of the Demon Card’s soldiers, emerged from the gloom. He didn't come alone; he wielded the dark power of the Shadow Lord's sorcery, conjuring pillars of obsidian to crush the intruders.
The Battle for the First Three Gems
The Topaz & Ruby: Doryu swung his heavy blade, sending a shockwave that knocked Haru backward. "You dare challenge the darkness?" Doryu roared.
The Counter-Attack: Takuya didn't hesitate. "Spirit Evolution!" In a burst of crimson light, Agunimon stood in his place. He intercepted Doryu’s strike with a flaming kick.
Phobos’s Crucial Turn: Seeing an opening, Phobos didn't retreat. He unleashed a torrent of magical vines that ensnared Doryu’s limbs. "I do not share power, beast!" Phobos shouted. The distraction allowed Leaf to slide beneath the monster and retrieve the Topaz and Ruby from a corrupted altar.
The Trial of the Spirit
As they reached the center of the forest, the Shadow Lord’s voice echoed through the trees, manifesting as a giant, faceless silhouette. He didn't attack with blades, but with despair.
Sailor Moon fell to her knees as the darkness whispered of her failures.
Yusuke felt the weight of every soul he couldn't save.
It was Phobos, surprisingly, who broke the spell. "Is this all?" he sneered at the Shadow Lord. "I have spent lifetimes in the dark. Your 'despair' is a bore." He blasted a beam of pure, arrogant energy into the sky, creating a hole in the gloom. The light snapped the others back to reality.
The Final Stand at the World Tree
At the base of the dying World Tree, Doryu made his final stand, empowered by the remaining four gems: the Lapis Lazuli, Emerald, Amethyst, and Diamond.
Haru used the Silfarion form of his sword, moving at blinding speeds to slice through Doryu’s shadow-armor.
Yusuke leveled his finger, a massive Spirit Gun blast lighting up the forest like a second sun.
Leaf and Takuya worked in tandem, fire and steel forcing Doryu back toward the roots.
The final gem—the Opal—was embedded in Doryu’s chest. "Phobos! Now!" Leaf yelled.
The Prince of Meridian didn't hesitate. He combined his royal magic with Sailor Moon’s Silver Crystal power. A beam of shimmering white and emerald light pierced Doryu, shattering the darkness within him. The gems scattered, flying toward the heroes like homing pigeons.
The Kingdom Reborn
As the seven gems were placed into the hollows of the World Tree, a pulse of pure, restorative energy swept across Meridian. The purple sky dissolved into a warm sunset.
Phobos stood apart from the group, watching the light return. He hadn't become a "good" person overnight, but he looked at the others with a newfound, albeit grumbling, respect. "Don't expect a thank-you," he muttered, though he didn't pull away when Sailor Moon gave him a celebratory (and very unwelcome) hug.
"We did it," Haru said, sheathing his sword. "The Shadow Lord is pushed back... for now."
Leaf looked at the Belt of Deltora, then at his new friends. "The gems are safe. Meridian is free."
