Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Memories: Symphonia of the Duelist Kingdom Post Hardcore Type Beat
The multiversal rift didn’t look like much—just a shimmering, jagged tear in the air of a back alley in Nowhere—but it had managed to pull four very different souls into its orbit.
Yusuke Urameshi was the first to lose his patience. He leaned against a brick wall, his green spirit jacket dusty but intact. "Look, I don’t care if you’re a prince or a glorified magician," he muttered, thumbing toward Prince Phobos, who stood several feet away looking disgusted by the sheer 'commonness' of the alleyway. "If you don't stop talking about your 'divine right' to rule this dump, I’m gonna fire a Spirit Gun into your crown."
Phobos smoothed his long, ornate robes, his eyes narrowing. "You speak to a ruler of Meridian, boy. Your lack of decorum is only matched by the absurdity of that spiky hair."
"Wait, let's just calm down!" Haru Glory stepped between them, the massive Ten Commandments sword strapped to his back. He looked between the delinquent and the tyrant with a weary smile. "We’re all stuck here. Plue is shivering, and honestly, fighting each other isn't going to get us home."
A few feet away, Roxas sat on a discarded crate, staring at the palms of his hands. He felt... heavy. "He’s right," Roxas said quietly. "The Heartless—or whatever is blurring the lines between our worlds—is coming. I can feel the vacuum."
The Convergence
As if on cue, the shadows in the alley began to liquefy. They didn't form Heartless, nor did they look like the Shadow Spirits Yusuke was used to. They were something new: Void-Wraiths, flickering in and out of existence.
Roxas was the first to move. In a flash of light, the Oathkeeper and Oblivion appeared in his hands. He spun, a whirlwind of white and black light, carving through the first wave of shadows.
Haru followed suit. "Eisenmeteor!" he shouted, his sword shifting form to its heavy metal state, crushing the ground beneath a Wraith.
Phobos didn't deign to move his feet. He simply raised a hand, summoning emerald vines from the cracks in the pavement that impaled the creatures, draining their stolen energy. "Vermin," he hissed.
Yusuke grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Finally. Something I actually understand." He leveled his index finger. "Spirit Gun!"
The blue blast of reiki tore through the center of the alley, vaporizing a dozen Wraiths in a single shot. The sheer force of the blast made even Phobos blink in surprise.
An Uneasy Alliance
The battle was short, but it revealed a problem: for every one they destroyed, two more emerged from the rift.
"The rift is a doorway," Roxas shouted over the sound of clashing steel. "But it's being held open from the other side. Someone is using our combined signatures to anchor it!"
"So we break the anchor," Haru said, his eyes glowing with the power of the Rave Stone. "I can use the Million Suns to light the path, but I need a massive power boost to pierce the veil."
Yusuke looked at Phobos. "Hey, Sparky. You’ve got a lot of ego—you got the juice to back it up?"
Phobos sneered, but the threat of being trapped in this "gutter" outweighed his pride. "I have more power in my smallest finger than your entire bloodline, spirit-child. If the Silver-Haired boy can channel it, I shall provide."
The Final Strike
They formed a circle around the rift.
Phobos unleashed a torrent of raw, magical energy, funneling it into Haru’s blade.
Roxas stabilized the space, his Keyblades acting as lightning rods to keep the reality from collapsing on them.
Haru raised the Ten Commandments, the blade glowing with a blinding, celestial white.
Yusuke stood behind Haru, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Don't miss, kid." He poured every ounce of his remaining Spirit Energy into the strike.
"RAVE... SPIRIT... BURST!"
The combined light didn't just close the rift; it shattered it. The shockwave sent all four of them flying backward into a white void.
The Aftermath
When the smoke cleared, the alley was empty.
Yusuke woke up back in Sarayashiki, face-down on a rooftop.
Haru found himself back on Garage Island, Plue licking his face.
Roxas stood on the clock tower in Twilight Town, a single sea-salt ice cream stick in his hand.
And Phobos? He was back in his throne room, fuming and calling for his guards.
They were worlds apart, and they’d likely never meet again. But for one afternoon, the delinquent, the hero, the Nobody, and the tyrant were the only thing keeping the multiverse from falling into the dark.
