Legend of the Labyrinth: The Magic Ruby and the Digital Sorcerer’s Millennium Ring

The air in the subterranean hall was thick with the scent of damp stone and ancient, stagnant magic.
Lief of Delora led the way, his hand hovering over the Belt of Deltora. The jewels embedded in the steel were no longer merely glowing; they were pulsing with a rhythmic, golden heat.
"This looks like some sort of ceremonial hall," Lief whispered, his voice echoing off the high, arched ceiling. He stopped beside a massive stone column, its surface etched with runes that seemed to writhe in the torchlight. "Look at this pillar. I guess even the rats knew not to take that down. It’s the only thing holding up the mountain."
Takuya Kanbara adjusted his goggles, his eyes darting toward the shadows dancing between the columns. "I have a feeling we're not alone here," he muttered, his hand instinctively reaching for his D-Tector.
"The Belt..." Lief suddenly gasped, clutching his waist. "It’s getting warmer. It’s burning me!"
Yugi Muto stepped forward, the Millennium Puzzle swinging slightly against his chest. He could feel the spiritual pressure in the room rising like a tide. "We must be getting close," Yugi said, his voice steady despite the chill running down his spine. "I feel like we're in danger, but we have to keep going."
"Ophanimon," Takuya said, the name sounding like a prayer. "She’s the one who told me to watch over Seraphimon. She sent us the vision."
Lief nodded, his face tight with pain from the searing heat of the gems. "Ophanimon... she’s the one who told us to come here. It’s all falling into place. The prophecy says that one day a group of wayward humans will free Seraphimon from his crystal slumber."
The Breaking Point
The silence of the hall was shattered by the sound of steel clashing against dark sorcery. A burst of purple energy illuminated the far doorway, and two figures tumbled into the chamber, locked in a deadly dance.
Bakura, his white hair wild and a wicked smirk playing on his lips, parried a bolt of dark fire with a shimmering barrier of energy. Opposite him stood the sorceress Tegan, her cloak billowing like living shadows as she prepared another curse.
"You’re late to the party, witch!" Bakura shouted, his voice dripping with his trademark malice, yet there was a strange flicker of resolve in his eyes.
Tegan hissed, her fingers clawing at the air. "You betray your own nature, thief! Why fight for them?"
Bakura glanced over his shoulder at Yugi, Takuya, and Lief. The three heroes stood frozen, caught between the prophecy and the sudden chaos.
"I am a man of my word," Bakura declared, his voice booming through the hall as he pushed Tegan back with a surge of power. "I must free Yugi and the other three souls. Even a thief knows when a debt is marked in blood!"
The Belt of Deltora let out a blinding flash of light, reacting to the presence of the dark magic. The floor began to tremble. The time for the prophecy had arrived.
