Clow Cards The Movie: Narissa & The Phantom Knights of the Blue Sky

The dark heart of Kandrakar hummed with a sickly violet light. Narissa, draped in shadows and clutching her corrupted staff, sneered at the battered assembly before her. "You could always give them back their free will, but then they'd never do your bidding," the ancient witch mocked, her eyes flicking toward the mindless thralls she had manipulated. "Great warriors or weak slaves—a catch 22. Congratulations, witch, the battle goes to you, but the war is far from over."
Will Vandom wiped a streak of ash from her cheek, the Heart of Kandrakar pulsing angrily at her throat. She surveyed the bruised, exhausted family forged in the fires of this strange convergence. "This is what we do, this is who we are, we face whatever trauma comes together," Will Vandom said to her siblings, Queen Elyion and Prince Phobos, Haru Glory, Sakura Avalon, and Kieroberos, guardian beast of the seal.
Sakura clutched her star wand tightly, her magic drained but her spirit unyielding, while Kieroberos bared his fangs in a low, rumbling growl. Haru Glory tightened his grip on the hilt of his massive blade, ready to channel whatever energy he had left. Will turned her blazing gaze back to the vanishing apparition of the dark sorceress. "We'll teach you what it means to raise your sword against us!"
The defiant declaration rang through the fractured halls of the fortress, a promise of absolute retribution. Yet, the rallying cry failed to ignite a spark in the former sovereign of Meridian. Phobos stared at his trembling hands, the echoes of the magical blast still ringing in his ears. When the enemy had unleashed her chaotic barrage, he had frozen, watching helplessly as the others absorbed the brunt of the arcane shrapnel. The heavy silence of the sanctuary pressed down on him, suffocating his lingering pride. He turned away from the glowing Heart, dropping his ceremonial blade to the marble floor with a hollow clatter.
"I was never meant to be a warrior. I am leaving Kandrakar," Prince Phobos said after he failed to protect his sisters from the witch Narissa, retreating into the cold shadows as the remaining heroes braced for the long war ahead.
