THE ANCIENT PROPHECY OF BRIAR WOOD: THE 5 SPIRITS & THE INFINITE DIMENSION Album Intro

The obsidian sky over Meridian hung heavy with the scent of ozone and burning leaves. Standing at the threshold of the Great Plaza, Nick, the Red Mystic Ranger, adjusted his grip on the Magma Staff. Beside him, Will Vandom’s Heart of Kandrakar pulsed with a faint, uneasy crimson glow.
"Oh, five spirits that control this world, please hear my prayers..." Nick muttered under his breath, channeling the ancestral magic of the Mystic Force. "The light which shines in the darkness, the flame which blows courage into the people's hearts... grant us strength."
"Save your prayers for when we actually reach the Citadel, Red," Will warned, her voice tight as she scanned the shadowy tree line bordering the city limits. "The Heart is reacting to something ancient. And nasty."
Suddenly, Queen Elyon stepped between them, her royal mantle catching the dim light. Tears glimmered in her eyes, yet her expression was desperate.
"Somebody please help! It's my brother," Elyon pleaded, grabbing Nick’s arm. "We were walking near the old ramparts when a creature—something wrapped in dark, shadowy tendrils—grabbed him and carried him straight into the woods!"
"Phobos?" Will asked, her eyebrows shooting up. "Phobos was taken?"
"He was trying to show me something," Elyon whispered, looking back toward the desolate palace towering in the distance. "He pulled me into the grand hall right before we were attacked. He pointed at the dais and said, 'Elyon, this is the throne you will sit on as Queen of Meridian.' He seemed... changed. Almost resigned to it. Then the ground opened up."
"Destiny is a strange thing," Nick said, gazing toward the dark canopy of the forest where the creature had fled. "Is destiny something that has been predetermined? If that is true, what kind of guide is destiny for human beings? Or is destiny just the beginning of all action?"
"Right now, action is the only thing that matters," Will snapped, holding up the Heart of Kandrakar. The orb flared, revealing a jagged line of dark energy slicing through the air a mile deep into the woodland. "There's a crack in the gate. The darkness has returned."
The three of them plunged into the thick, twisted forest of Metamoor. Roots snaked across the path like living coils, and the eerie silence of the woods pressed in from all sides.
"Why is it so hard to find the rebels' hideout?" Nick growled, ducking under a thorned branch as they pushed deeper into the unknown terrain. "They've operated in these woods for years, yet the path keeps shifting."
"It's protected by ancient magic," Elyon explained, tracking the faint shimmer of her brother’s crest left on broken twigs. "There are rumors of a magical city hidden between the folds of this realm—a place where the rules of Meridian don't apply. If whatever took Phobos is hiding there, we aren't just fighting a monster. We're stepping into the heart of the shadow itself."
Nick raised his staff, its red gem ignited in a blazing inferno that cut through the encroaching gloom. "Then let's go break the shadow."
