Cynder’s Lair: Fall of the King of Kandrakar: Tales from Babylon City Album Outro

The rain in Babylon City didn't just fall; it hissed as it struck the rusted plating of the lower decks.
Prince Phobos leaned over the glowing terminal, his dark eyes fixed on the streams of ancient data scrolling across the interface. Beside him, Will Vandom adjusted the strap of her tactical vest, her posture tense, eyes darting toward the shadows that always seemed to creep closer in this desolate district.
"The list we found of those born in the earth town will help us refine our search to relocate our sister," Phobos murmured, his voice smooth, cold, and calculated. "She's lost her identity again."
Will ran a hand through her hair, letting out a heavy sigh. "I still can't believe they got to her. Queen Elyion is supposed to be untraceable."
"They are precise, Will," Phobos replied, his fingers flying across the keys. "Whoever kidnapped Elyion and Makubex did it without leaving a trace. The Brain Trust operates in absolute silence until they choose to strike."
A low laugh echoed from the iron walkway above them. Footsteps—slow, deliberate, and entirely unbothered by the toxic drizzle—announced the arrival of a figure emerging from the neon-streaked fog.
"No matter when I come, this place never changes, does it?" Kyogi Kagami stepped into the dim light, resting a hand on the hilt at his side. He looked out over the sprawling, jagged skyline of the lower city. "It's always filled with death and despair... and a mysterious vitality."
"It's been a long time, hasn't it, Kyogi?" Phobos said without looking up from the terminal.
Kyogi smirked, looking toward the looming obsidian spires in the distance, where electrical arcs cracked against the polluted sky.
"Babylon City is where hope goes to die, Spyro," Kyogi said softly, turning his gaze toward the small dragon perched on a nearby beam, its purple scales glinting in the dark. "A dark, foreboding place where the Brain Trust plans their next assault."
Will stepped forward, her hand resting on her weapon. "Then we don't have time to waste. If Elyion's memories are fading, every minute she stays in their hands means we lose a little more of who she really is. Let's find her."
