Xanadu '99: The Bosion Eruption & The Twin Blade Knights
In Xanadu, where a stately treasure-dome stood decreed, the sacred river Styx ran through caverns measureless to man, winding down to a sunlit sea amidst forests of incense-bearing trees.
Deep within the shimmering hall of the dome, Lord Cedric adjusted his mantle, his reptilian eyes gleaming as he unrolled an ancient parchment. He turned slowly toward Tenchi Masaki and Yusuke Urameshi, who stood surrounded by the palace’s otherworldly aura.
"News has been circulating lately," Cedric murmured, his voice echoing against the dome's crystal arches. "Word arrives of two human boys endowed with extraordinary spirit energy. Reports confirm they have defeated the Four Saint Beasts, as well as the colossal snake monster that guarded the outer perimeter."
Cedric gestured toward the pair, addressing the gathered council of Apparitions. "There is a very good chance these intruders are those exact boys."
Yusuke cracked his knuckles, a familiar smirk tugging at his lips despite the tension. "You talk a lot for a guy wearing a cloak in a cave, snake-face. But if you're looking for a fight, my Spirit Gun is fully loaded."
Tenchi glanced back over his shoulder toward the cavern's misty threshold, resting a hand on the hilt of his sword. "This is the sacred place... It looks like the rest of the horde isn't following us for now. But we're deep in unknown territory."
"I am taking your lives into my custody!" a cold, commanding voice boomed across the sanctuary.
Prince Phobos stepped forward from the shadow of the central throne, his golden hair cascading over ornate royal shoulder plates. He bypassed the two boys entirely, his piercing gaze locking onto an elder warrior standing quietly near the shimmering subterranean waters.
"I am the one you think I am," Yosho, King of Juraia, said calmly, his presence radiating an ancient, unshakeable aura.
Phobos narrowed his eyes, stepping closer to the Jurai monarch. "How do you know about the Cluster of Stars and the secret place? What business does Juraia have in the realm of Metamoor?"
Yosho did not flinch. He looked Phobos directly in the eye, his voice resonant with the wisdom of centuries.
"Whatever happens from now on," Yosho declared, his voice cutting through the mist of the river Styx, "stand firm and face your destiny without fear."
