Dragon Awakening: Queen of Meridian and the Three Worlds’ Fate

The air inside the great halls of the Demon World realm hung thick with spirit energy and ancient dread. Raizen, the King of the Realm, slumped heavily on his massive throne, his eyes burning with a dim but fierce fire as he looked down at the four figures standing before him.
Yusuke Urameshi stood at the front, arms crossed, teeth gritted. Beside him was Will Vandom, her eyes glowing faintly with the pink aura of the Heart of Kandrakar. Behind them, Prince Phobos and Queen Elyon—siblings bound by blood and centuries of turbulent magic—stood in uneasy silence.
Raizen’s voice rumbled through the cavern, deep as an earthquake.
"There's more you need to know about the situation here in the Demon World that I haven't told you yet. The relationships are complex. In the past, I fought with Dartz and Yomi merely for the sake of fighting... but things have changed."
Raizen shifted, gesturing toward the shadowy map carved into the stone floor.
"You could get along with Dartz. He's a traditionalist, an isolationist who likes the Demon World just the way it is: divided. But beware of Yomi. He speaks of unification, but it's a front for moving his army. He'll take over Meridian and Kandrakar given the chance. Side with Dartz. Lead them well... my children."
Yusuke blinked, taking a step back. "Wait—children?!"
Will’s hand flew to the Heart of Kandrakar resting against her chest. "All four of us? But we’re from completely different realms!"
"You are bound by a heritage deeper than the soil of any single world," Raizen rasped, his gaze softening as he looked past them into the gloom of the inner sanctuary. "Your true quest has barely begun. You seek your estranged mother, Queen Weria. And the key to finding her—and surviving what comes next—lies in those statues."
He pointed toward the periphery of the cavern. Towering above them were massive, ancient statues carved entirely from translucent, shimmering crystal.
"They appear to be dragons," Phobos murmured, his eyes narrowing with a dark, calculating intensity.
"They are more than stone or glass," Raizen warned, his voice dropping to a harsh whisper. "All of our worlds are in great danger, and without Prince Phobos, we will all cease to exist."
Elyon turned to her brother in shock. Phobos offered only a thin, cold smile, though a flicker of genuine tension crossed his sharp features.
"The cosmic scales are tipping," Raizen continued, his strength fading fast. "The Human World has always been kept in balance with Zibmala, the Spirit World, Kandrakar, and the Dominion of the Beast. But the dimensional barriers are fracturing. If something isn't done soon... if you cannot unite the traditionalists against Yomi's march... every world we know will cease to exist."
Yusuke squeezed his fists until his knuckles turned white, a smirk finally breaking through his shock. He looked at Will, then over at Elyon and Phobos.
"Well," Yusuke said, cracking his neck. "Guess we'd better start acting like a family."
