Scarface: Sister of Phobos – Surrounded by Darkness

The Weight of the Void
What is darkness?
It is not merely the absence of light; it is a living, breathing entity. It swallows all things into its endless void, letting nothing escape its suffocating grasp. The pitch-black abyss is always there, lurking in the background of every spark, waiting for the fire to die.
Humans dread the darkness, but perhaps it isn't the empty space they fear. Perhaps it is something deeper—something ancient and waiting—that watches them from within it.
An Uneasy Alliance
Underneath a sky that bled digital decay, two figures stood on a jagged cliff overlooking a desolate wasteland. The wind carried the faint sound of clanking chains and the low hum of dark energy.
Kyogi Kagimi turned his gaze away from the horizon, looking toward the formidable warrior standing beside him.
"I've summoned you because there's someone I need you to teach," Kyogi said, his voice barely carrying over the howling wind. He paused, observing the subtle tension in the other man's shoulders. "Now I get it... you're from the outside world, so you're not used to all this darkness."
Diaz, the formidable martial artist of Kuruda, remained silent for a moment. He adjusted his stance, his sharp eyes cutting through the gloom. To a warrior of his caliber, threat was a language spoken fluently, but this world felt entirely alien. The shadows here didn't just hide enemies—they seemed to actively hunger for life.
The Tyrant's Shadow
Before Diaz could answer, a younger voice cut through the oppressive quiet.
Takuya Kanbara stepped forward, his eyes fixed on the massive structure looming in the distance. The Digital Limitless Fortress pierced the sky like a jagged, black needle, radiating a cold, viral energy that choked the very atmosphere.
"When the Digimon Emperor took Phobos' throne, a light went out over this land," Takuya said, his fists clenching at his sides. The fiery spirit that usually defined him was tempered by a grim, exhausting reality. "Our men are jailed. Our crops are stolen. The digital world we knew is being overwritten by this nightmare."
He turned to Diaz and Kyogi, the weight of a rebellion resting squarely on his young shoulders.
"They say Phobos has a sister on the other side... could this be true?" Takuya asked, a flicker of desperate hope in his eyes.
But the hope was quickly swallowed by the reality of their situation. Takuya looked back up at the limitless fortress sky, his voice dropping to a harsh whisper.
"Those who dare to cross him don't live to tell the tale."
Diaz looked from the boy to the towering fortress in the distance. The darkness of this world was vast, but as a master of the Shadow Skill, he knew one fundamental truth: the deeper the shadow, the brighter the strike required to shatter it.
"Then we had better start teaching," Diaz murmured, his voice cutting through the dark. "Because we have a throne to take back."
